    Abstract: PURPOSE: A variable intake system and a monitoring method thereof are provided to minimize the discharge of exhaust gas by stopping the control of the variable intake system and limiting the ignition time and accelerator opening degree in case the malfunction of a solenoid valve is determined. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring method of a variable intake system comprises following steps. A solenoid valve is operated at one time in case of starting(S12). Signals are received from a lever position sensor of the solenoid valve which is adjacent to the lever of the solenoid valve. The position of the lever of the solenoid valve and position variation are studied using the signals of the lever position sensor of the solenoid valve(S14). The operation section of the lever of the solenoid valve is revised based on the signals of the lever position sensor of the solenoid valve(S16). Whether the location of the lever of the solenoid valve belongs to the normal range of the positional deviation or not is decided(S18).

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An engine control device according to fluctuation of load and a method thereof are provided to improve stability of the vehicle by controlling the fuel injection amount and ignition time with detecting electric load according to PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signals from a magnetic flux responsiveness terminal of an alternator. CONSTITUTION: An engine control unit detects information on an engine of a vehicle in starting the engine, and decides idling of the vehicle in stopping(S101,S102,S103). The engine is controlled according to acceleration or deceleration condition as the purpose of a driver in not idling at a stop(S104), and injection is controlled corresponding to ignition time by calculating the fuel amount from the map table according to the suction air amount to keep the engine starting(S105). Magnetic flux responsiveness of an alternator is detected through a signal line connected to a magnetic flux responsiveness output terminal of a regulator, and selection of electric load is decided by analyzing fluctuation(S106,S107). The engine is rotated stably by compensating the fuel amount with compensating the suction air amount according to electric load fluctuation.
