    Abstract: A fuel shut-off valve structure is provided to prevent dust from being accumulated in the gap formed between a plunger and a guide member, and to reduce contact noise generated during operation of the plunger. A fuel shut-off valve structure includes a guide member fixed in a valve housing; a hollow accommodation portion(14) which is formed beneath the guide member and has an open bottom surface; a cylindrical plunger(18) arranged to elastically enter the hollow accommodation portion via a return spring; a magnetization coil arranged along the circumference of the guide member such that the magnetization coil is magnetized when electrified; and an inlet port and an outlet port formed beneath the plunger and communicated to a fuel supply path. The plunger has an outer surface with a plurality of grooves(18a) extended in the lengthwise direction. The hollow accommodation portion has an inner surface on which protrusions(14a) are integrally formed such that the protrusions are individually fitted into the grooves of the plunger.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A direct injection engine with an injector is provided to improve noise and vibration absorbing performance by employing a ring-shaped metal washer formed with damping rubber. CONSTITUTION: A direct injection engine comprises a cylinder head, an injector(140), and a washer unit(120). The cylinder head has a mounting hole and a raised protrusion for reducing the width of the mounting hole. The injector directly sprays fuel into a cylinder through the mounting hole and has a housing inclined surface corresponding to the raised protrusion. The washer unit is interposed in between the housing inclined surface and the raised protrusion to absorb and reduce the vibration generated between the injector and the cylinder head. The washer unit comprises a ring-shaped metal washer(200) whose bottom surface contacts the raised protrusion and damping rubber(210) which is elastically deformed and compressed when the housing inclined surface is moved toward the metal washer.
