Abstract: PURPOSE: A noise reducing structure for a high-pressure fuel pump of a GDI(Gasoline Direct Injection) engine is provided to reduce noise by reducing impulsive shock between the other end of a valve needle and the center through hole of a stop disc as fuel remaining at the outer side of an anchor flows through fine holes of a valve disc. CONSTITUTION: A noise reducing structure for a high-pressure fuel pump of a GDI engine comprises a pole core(30), an anchor(40), a washer(60), a compression spring(50), a valve needle(20), and a valve disc(70). The anchor is in contact with or separated from the pole core according to the magnetizing force of the pole core. Fuel flows to the outer side of a needle combining hole through a plurality of fine through-holes. The compression spring pushes the anchor to the opposite side when the magnetizing force of the pole core is released. Both ends of the valve needle are fitted into the needle combining hole and the stop disc and integrally connected to the washer and the anchor. The valve needle moves side by side by the magnetizing force of the pole core and the compression spring. The valve disc reduces impulsive noise from the anchor and the valve needle by controlling the inflow and outflow amount of fuel.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A direct injection engine with an injector is provided to improve noise and vibration absorbing performance by employing a ring-shaped metal washer formed with damping rubber. CONSTITUTION: A direct injection engine comprises a cylinder head, an injector(140), and a washer unit(120). The cylinder head has a mounting hole and a raised protrusion for reducing the width of the mounting hole. The injector directly sprays fuel into a cylinder through the mounting hole and has a housing inclined surface corresponding to the raised protrusion. The washer unit is interposed in between the housing inclined surface and the raised protrusion to absorb and reduce the vibration generated between the injector and the cylinder head. The washer unit comprises a ring-shaped metal washer(200) whose bottom surface contacts the raised protrusion and damping rubber(210) which is elastically deformed and compressed when the housing inclined surface is moved toward the metal washer.
