Abstract: Determining priority of a simultaneous sidelink (SL) transmission and uplink (UL) transmission of a user equipment (UE) within a 5G New Radio (NR) network may comprise processing an SL control information (SCI) corresponding to at least one of a SL hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) or an SL schedule request (SR) included in a UL transmission to be sent by a UE to thereby determine a priority value associated with the at least one SL HARQ or SL SR. An SCI of an SL transmission to be sent by the UE simultaneously with the UL transmission may be processed to thereby determine a priority value associated with the SL transmission. The priority value of the at least one SL HARQ or SL SR may be compared to the priority value of the SL transmission. Transmissions may then be prioritized based on the comparison of priority values.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to performing implicit radio resource control state transitions in a cellular communication system. A wireless device may establish a radio resource control (RRC) connection with a cellular base station. A data inactivity timer length and a target RRC state for implicit RRC transitions may be determined. A data inactivity timer having the determined data inactivity timer length may be initiated. It may be determined that the data inactivity timer has expired. The wireless device may transition to the target RRC state based at least in part on determining that the data inactivity timer has expired.

In one aspect, a dedicated radio resource control (RRC) signaling is used to configure a UL gap by transmitting. The UL gap configuration may indicate a reference cell to determine a UL gap pattern for a multi-radio dual connectivity (MR-DC) configuration. The UL gap configuration may indicate a system frame number (SFN) and a subframe of the reference cell used for calculating the UL gap pattern. The reference cell can be selected from a list of cells including FR1 cells or can be limited to FR2 cells.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to multi-path operation. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a measurement report is transmitted to a base station on a first path between the UE and the base station, wherein the measurement report indicates channel quality information on one or more potential paths between the UE and the base station. A path addition command is then received from the base station, wherein the path addition command indicates the UE to add a path from one or more potential paths as a second path. The second path between the UE and the base station is then established based on the path addition command.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for using integrated access and backhaul (IAB) nodes configured to provide multi-access edge computing (MEC) functionality. An IAB node may include a MEC functionality that includes an instance of an application configured for MEC. A UE using the application connects to the network through an access link with the IAB node and establishes a PDU session for traffic of the application with a core network (CN). The CN may determine that the traffic corresponds to the application, and that an instance of the application is present on the IAB node. Accordingly, the CN may instruct the IAB donor to instantiate a remote packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer and, in some cases, a remote service data application (SDAP) layer that are configured to route the traffic from the UE for the application to the instance of the application on the IAB node.
