Abstract: Apparatus for mixing synthetic resin reagents has a mixing chamber with inlets for the reagents and an outlet for the mixture produced, and a stirrer in the chamber which has a tapered screw and forms a variable shear gap to the wall of the chamber. This stirrer consists of two meshing screws which revolve in the same or opposite directions and which can be moved together longitudinally. ADVANTAGE - The mixer is efficient even under critical conditions. It is self-cleaning when used for prolonged periods.
