Abstract: Procedimiento para la obtención de cloruros de los ácidos clorocarboxílicos de la fórmula (I) en la que R1 y R2 significan, independientemente entre sí, un átomo de hidrógeno, un resto alifático, aromático o aralifático insubstituido o substituido, con 1 hasta 20 átomos de carbono, un halógeno, un grupo nitro o un grupo ciano, e Y significa una cadena alquileno con 1 hasta 10 átomos de carbono en la cadena, que está insubstituida o que está substituida por restos alifáticos, aromáticos o aralifáticos, insubstituidos o substituidos, con 1 hasta 20 átomos de carbono, por halógeno, por grupos nitros y/o por grupos ciano, pudiendo estar interrumpida la cadena alquileno por un grupo éter, por un grupo tioéter, por un grupo amino terciario o por un grupo ceto, pudiendo estar enlazados entre sí los citados restos alifáticos, aromáticos o aralifáticos, insubstituidos o substituidos, con 1 hasta 20 átomos de carbono de Y y/o de R1 y/o de R2, formando un sistema no aromático, caracterizado porquese hace reaccionar una lactona de la fórmula (II) en la que R1, R2 e Y tienen el significado precedentemente indicado, con cloruro de hidrógeno y fosgeno en presencia de un catalizador, caracterizado porque se alimenta cloruro de hidrógeno antes y/o durante la adición de fosgeno, comenzándose con la introducción de cloruro de hidrógeno solamente a partir de una temperatura de 60ºC, como mínimo, y empleándose como catalizador un compuesto de piridina.

(473 K) under atmospheric pressure, wherein the concentration of 3-chloropropyne in the liquid phase and in the gas phase is kept below the concentrations capable of deflagration by means of the type and amount of the diluent, the temperature and the total system pressure, together with the use of a 3-chloropropyne prepared, stored or transported in this way in the synthesis of dyestuffs, pharmaceutical and agricultural active ingredients, electroplating auxiliaries, disinfectants, steroids and growth hormones.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the intrinsically safe handling of 3- chlorpropyne in the presence of a diluent, which has a boiling point under normal pressure in the range of -50 ~C (223 K) to 200 ~C (473 K). According to the method, the concentration of 3-chloropropyne in the liquid phase and in the gaseous phase is maintained below the concentrations at which deflagrati on occurs, by means of the type and quantity of the diluent, the temperature an d the total pressure of the system. The invention also relates to the use of 3 - chloropropyne produced, stored or transported in this manner for the synthes is of dyes, pharmaceutical and agricultural active ingredients, electroplating auxiliary agents, disinfection agents, steroids and growth hormones.

Abstract: Recovery of neopentyl hydroxypivalate (I) from a mixture containing (I), products (II) of lower boiling point, products (III) of higher boiling point and inorganic salts (IV) is carried out in 2 separation stages. In stage (1), the mixture is fed to a wiped film evaporator; (III) and (IV) are discharged from the sump; and a vapor stream of (I), (II) and (III) is discharged via the top to a heat transfer unit, where it is condensed. In stage (2), the condensate is fed into a rectifying column with a second evaporator and heat transfer; a vapor stream of (II) is discharged at the top, condensed and optionally partly recycled as reflux and partly discharged; a vapor stream of (I) is discharged at the side and condensed; and a stream of (I) and (III) is discharged from the sump and (partly) passed to the second evaporator, the vapor from this evaporator being (partly) recycled to the lower zone of the column. Also claimed is the apparatus used.
