Abstract:
A process for purifying alkoxylated fats by treatment with a solid substance, characterized in that the solid substance used is a mixture of aluminium oxide and a silicate.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing multimetal cyanide compounds by converting a metallic salt with a cyanometallate compound. The inventive method comprises the steps: a) precipitating the multimetal cyanide compound by converting a metallic salt with a cyanometallate compound and b) recrystallising the multimetal cyanide compound precipitated in step a).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for producing at least one alkoxylate which consists in contacting at least one alkylene oxide selected from the group consisting of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, butylene oxide, pentene oxide and decene oxide, with at least one initiator, in the presence of at least one double metal cyanide type compound. The invention is characterized in that said reaction is carried out at a temperature ranging between 130 DEG C and 155 DEG C. The invention also concerns the alkoxylates, in particular ethoxylates, thus produced, as well as their use as emulsifiers, foam adjusting and wetting agents for hard surfaces.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of reducing the inhalation toxicity of functional fluids by incorporating into a functional fluid an effective amount of a copolymer which is obtainable by copolymerizing ethylene oxide, propylene oxide and/or butylene oxide with an initiator monool or diol, said copolymer having a degree of unsaturation of less than about 0.01 meq/g.
Abstract:
The invention concerns compositions comprising at least one alkoxylate of general formula RO(A)n(B)mH, a method for producing same, in particular in the presence of double metal cyanide compounds which act as catalysts, as well as their use as emulsifiers, foam adjusting or wetting agents for hard surfaces. The invention also concerns the use of said compositions in detergents and surfactant formulations.

Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for producing at least one alkoxylated product, consisting in contacting an alkylene oxide mixture containing at least ethylene oxide with at least one initiator compound in the presence of at least one double metal cyanide compound, the sum of the inert gas partial pressure and of the ethylene oxide partial pressure ranging between 1.5 bar and 6.0 bar during the induction phase. The invention also concerns the alkoxylated products obtained by said method and the use of such products as emulsifiers, foam adjusting and wetting agents for hard surfaces.

The invention relates to DMC catalysts consisting of at least 10 wt. %, (in relation to the weight of the DMC catalyst), of a crystalline multi-metal cyanide compound, whose X-ray diffractogram exhibits intense reflections at least at the d-values 11.4 Å ± 0.5 Å; 8.9 Å ± 0.5 Å; 6.3 Å ± 0.5 Å; 5.8 Å ± 0.5 Å; 5.5 Å ± 0.5 Å; 4.5 Å ± 0.5 Å; 4.4 Å ± 0.5 Å; 3.9 Å ± 0.4 Å; 3.7 Å ± 0.4 Å; 3.4 Å ± 0.4 Å.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for reacting epoxides with a starter-compound in the presence of a double metallocyanide-compound as a catalyst with reduced induction times. The activation of the double metallocyanide-compound occurs by adding the epoxides to a mixture made from double metallocyanide-compounds and starter compounds at an inner pressure of the reactor of less than 1 bar. The invention also relates to a polyether which can be obtained by means of said method.
