    Abstract: An element of a line system of a fuel cell, wherein the portion which is in contact with the conveyed fluid is composed of a polyester molding composition, and, furthermore, there is at least one other layer present, which has been selected from a) a layer II composed of a polyamide molding composition, b) a layer III composed of a molding composition composed of a functionalize d polyolefin, c) a layer IV composed of a polyolefin molding composition in which the polyolefin has not been functionalized, and also d) a layer V composed of an EVOH molding composition, can be produced at low cost, has good barrier action with respect to the conveyed fluid, and emits no, or only extremely small amounts of, components which polarize or poison the catalyst.

    Abstract: A good layer adhesion can be achieved in a composite having two or more layers whereina layer I is obtained from a molding composition which has the following components:a) from 0 to 80 parts by weight of a polyamide selected from the group consisting of PA6, PA66, PA6/66 and a mixture thereof;b) from 0.05 to 100 parts by weight of a polyamine-polyamide copolymer; andc) from 0 to 80 parts by weight of a polyamide selected from the group consisting of PA11, PA12, PA612, PA1012, PA1212 and a mixture thereof;wherein a total of the parts by weight of components a), b) and c) is 100;wherein at least 20 parts by weight of components a) and b) is a monomer unit which is obtained from caprolactam and/or from a combination of hexamethylenediamine/adipic acid; andwherein at least 20 parts by weight of components b) and c) is a monomer unit which is obtained from omega-aminoundecanoic acid, laurolactam, a mixture of hexamethylenediamine and 1,12-dodecanedioic acid, a mixture of 1,10-decanediamine and 1,12-dodecanedioic acid, and/or a mixture of 1,12-dodecanediamine and 1,12-dodecanedioic acid.

    Abstract: A multilayer composite comprising the following layers bound directly to one another:I. a layer I of a polyamide molding composition;II. a layer II of a bonding agent comprising at least 50% by weight of a mixture ofa) from 30 to 70 parts by volume of polyamide andb) from 70 to 30 parts by volume of polyolefin, where the sum of the parts by volume is 100 and in addition at least some of the polyamide is present either in the form of a polyamide-polyolefin graft copolymer or as a highly branched polyamine-polyamide copolymer;III. if desired a layer III of a polyolefin molding composition,displays good adhesion between layers which remains largely intact even on prolonged contact with alcohol-containing or aqueous media at elevated temperature.

    Abstract: A composite comprising the following layers: (I) a layer made of a molding composition which comprises the following components: (a) from 0 to 80 parts by weight of a polyamide selected from PA6, PA66, PA6/66 and mixtures thereof; (b) from 0 to 100 parts by weight of a polyamine- polyamide copolymer; and (c) from 0 to 80 parts by weight of a polyamide selected from PA11, PA12, PA612, PA1012, PA1212 and mixtures thereof, where the total of the parts by weight of components (a), (b) and (c) is 100, and where in addition: within the entirety of components (a) and (b), at least 20 parts by weight are composed of monomer units which derive from caprolactam, or a combination of hexamethylenediamine/adipic acid, and within the entirety of components (b) and (c), at least 20 parts by weight are composed of monomer units which are derived from .omega.- aminoundecanoic acid, laurolactam, a combination of hexamethylenediamine/1,12-dodecanedioic acid, a combination of 1,10-decanediamine/1,12-dodecanedioic acid, or a combination of 1,12-dodecanediamine/1,12-dodecanedioic acid, and (II) a layer made of a molding composition which comprises an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer; has good layer adhesion.
