PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer composite material having good adhesion of a layer. SOLUTION: The multilayer composite material comprises a layer I made of a molding material containing (a) a polyamide of 0 to 80 mass pts. selected from the group consisting of PA6, PA66, PA6/66 and their mixture, (b) a polyamine polyamide copolymer of 0 to 100 mass pts., and (c) a polyamide of 0 to 80 pts.mass selected from the group consisting of PA11, PA12, PA612, PA1012, PA1212 and their mixture, and a layer II containing an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a molding material which has better cuttablity and blow moldability than those of conventional polyamide molding materials, and has a high melt rigidity. SOLUTION: The molding material comprises a polyamine/polyamide copolymer to be produced by using (a) 0.05-2.5 mass% (based on the polyamine/ polyamide copolymer) polyamine having at least 4 nitrogen atoms and (b) a polyamide-forming monomer to be selected from an equimolar compound of a lactam, an ω-aminocarboxylic acid and/or a diamine and a dicarboxylic acid, and meets the conditions that the viscosity at -250 deg.C is at least 5,000 Pa.s and the shear rate is 0.1 1/s; and the viscosity ratio at -250 deg.C is at least 7 (in this instance the melt viscosities at shear rates of 0.1 1/s and 100 1/s being compared with each other).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material having a high melt viscosity coefficient and well extrudable or blow moldable, having high hot-molding stability and stable to hydrolysis for improving disadvantages of conventional molding materials which cause irreversible curing or bending at raised service temperatures and unsuitable for producing tubes usable in automotives. SOLUTION: The molding material comprises I. 99.9-95 pts. mass of a polyetheramide based on a 6-12C straight-chain aliphatic diamine, a 6-12C straight-chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or a 6-12C aromatic dicarboxylic acid and a polyetherdiamine having at least 3 carbon atoms per ether oxygen atom and primary amino groups at the terminals of the chain, II. 0.1-5 pts. mass of a copolymer having 100 sum total of pts. mass of I. and II., III. other polymers in an amount of 0-50 mass%, advantageously 0-30 mass% based on the molding material and IV. 0-10 mass% of a usual additive based on the molding material. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material or molded article with excellent low- temperature impact strength, with a loess amount of an impact modifier, and to provide a method suppressing the reduction of low-temperature impact strength by a plasticizer in a plastticized molding material. SOLUTION: This material contains 60-96.5 pts. mass (I) a polyamide, 3-39.5 pts.mass (II) an acid anhydrid group containing impact-resistant component, and 0.5-20 pts.mass (III) a copolymer, when the total sum of pts.wt. of components I, II, and III is 100, wherein the polyamide has terminal amino groups in excess over the terminal carboxyl groups.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method which definitely increases the molecular weight of polyamide simply by a single process. SOLUTION: A condensation process of a polyamide comprises condensing the polyamide or a polyamide molded material with a compound having at least 2 carbonate units in an amount of 0.005-10 mass % to the amount of the polyamide, wherein the following conditions exist: (a) the polyamide contains 5-500 ppm of phosphorus in the form of an acidic compound originating from the manufacturing process of the polyamide ; and (b) 0.001-10 mass % of a weak acid salt is added to the polyamide or the polyamide moulding material. A composition (C1) comprises (pbw) a polyetheramide (a1) (80 - 97, preferably 85 - 95) containing linear 6-14C aliphatic diamine, linear 6-14C aliphatic or aromatic dicarboxylic acid, and polyetherdiamines having at least 3C per ether oxygen and having primary amino groups at the chain ends; and a rubber (b1) (3 - 20, preferably 5 - 15) containing at least one functional group. An independent claim is included for a molding produced from (C1).
