PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a computer program, an apparatus and a system capable of determining a confidential label of document information in real time.SOLUTION: A label determination apparatus 3 includes: an operation detection section 341 for detecting a predetermined operation on document information; a content extraction section 342 for extracting contents contained in the document information in response to the detection of the predetermined operation; a policy information acquisition section 343 for acquiring policy information indicating a relation between the contents and the confidential label from a policy server 1; and a determination section 344 for determining the confidential label of the document information by determining the confidential label corresponding to the contents on the basis of the policy information acquired by the policy information acquisition section 343 in response to the extraction of the contents by the content extraction section 342.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the operation of an application program in detail more than before without changing an existing operating system. SOLUTION: An information processing device is provided which operates a plurality of application programs including first and second application programs in parallel on the operating system. The information processing device monitors a function call from the first application program to the operating system, or a message transmitted/received between the first application program and the operating system. Then, the information processing device, on the basis of the monitoring result, changes or prohibits the processing of a function call from the second application program to the operating system, or message transmission/reception between the second application program and the operating system. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate the power consumption of central processing units in a more flexible way than before. SOLUTION: An information processor with a plurality of central processing units is provided having a temperature measuring part for measuring the temperature of each of the plurality of central processing units; a pause ratio calculating part for calculating a pause ratio, i.e., a time ratio at which the computing processing of the central processing unit is paused based on the measured temperature of each of the central processing units; a paused state control part for pausing the computing processing of the central processing unit according to the pause ratio by shifting the central processing unit to either a standby state achieved by a thread executed by each of the plurality of central processing units that the central processing unit is caused to execute the other thread for a predetermined standby period or an operating state that an internal pause command for pausing the computing processing of the central processing unit is executed; and an interruption processing part for interrupting each of the plurality of central processing units to resume the computing processing of the central processing unit which pauses the computing processing. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply display a moving picture on a hold type display device by providing a shutter function in the overlay processor. SOLUTION: A RAM readout circuit 301 reads image data and moving picture data out of an on-screen area 211 and an off-screen area 213 according to horizontal scanning lines, and outputs them to a key color detecting circuit 303 and an overlay selecting circuit 305. A shutter circuit 307 receives a frame timing signal from a VRAM readout circuit 301 and judges which of a black signal and the moving picture data received from the VRAM readout part 301 should be outputted in a frame according to specific frame cycles. In the starting frame cycle, the moving picture data from the VRAM readout circuit 301 are outputted to the overlay selecting circuit 305, so the black signal is outputted to the overlay selecting circuit 5 after a next framing signal is received.

An information processing device that performs authentication processing with a mounted authentication device that securely stores unique identification information, comprises a mounting component, a memory component which stores a table with correspondent listing of the unique identifier information of the authentication device and a count value, and a control component which, when power is activated (boot), starts by reading a first program ST1 (such as a BIOS), and reads the identification information of the mounted authentication device, references the table, and if the count value is larger than a prescribed value ST2, performs authentication processing for the authentication device ST3, and when authentication has succeeded starts by reading a second program ST4 (such as an OS), and if the authentication device continues to be mounted ST5, decreases the table count value ST6 that corresponds to the unique identification information of the authentication device. Re-authentication processing ST7 may be performed, which restricts or stops the second program if failed. This encourages the user to remove the authentication device after authentication, thus preventing the information processing device from being lost or stolen with the device still mounted.

Eine Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die Bereitstellung eines Verfahrens zum Einrichten einer sicher verwalteten Ausführungsumgebung für eine virtuelle Maschine und eines hierfür verwendeten Programms. Nachdem ein Programm, in dem ein Mittel zum selektiven Maskieren eines Fensterbildschirms einer virtuellen Maschine und eine Sicherheitsfunktion integriert sind, mit Administratorberechtigung in einem Host-Betriebssystem einer Benutzerdatenstation installiert wurde, wird ein Programm mit einer integrierten Sicherheitsfunktion, die der Administrator in der virtuellen Maschine einrichten möchte, und einem integrierten Mittel zum Freigeben der Maske für einen Benutzer bereitgestellt. Wenn eine solche Situation vom Administrator geschaffen wird, kann der Benutzer, der eine virtualisierte Umgebung verwenden möchte, nicht umhin, das Installieren der Sicherheitsfunktion, deren Installation vom Administrator gewünscht wird, in der virtuellen Maschine zu akzeptieren.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of usability and inhibition of user convenience due to data analysis processing in access control.SOLUTION: Technique for classifying data to perform access control. A first piece of data as a reference for classification is extracted from data to be classified or attributes thereof and is analyzed to determine whether a predetermined first part including data to be classified or the first data belongs to a first classification category. When it is determined that the first part belongs to the category, first access control set is applied to an action to the data to be classified or the first data. When the first access control set is applied and the access control to the action to the data to be classified or the first data is suspended, a second piece of data as a reference for classification is extracted from the data to be classified or attributes thereof and analyzed to determine whether the second data belongs to a second classification category. When it is determined that the second piece of data belongs to a second classification category, a second access control set is applied to the suspended first action.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resource protection processing program for protecting resources processed by a computer.SOLUTION: In place of a conventional resource protection processing program, a resource protection processing program realizes following functions in a computer: a preparation function which is a function to prepare multiple definition state transition histories and multiple definition actions associated with each other, and in which each of the definition state transition histories defines state transition histories of the computer for when it executes prescribed access to prescribed resources, and each of the definition actions is defined to be executed when a definition state transits to the next definition state; and an action execution function to select the definition action associated with the corresponding definition state transition history from among the single or multiple definition actions when executing the actual access to the real resources, and executing the selected definition actions.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, program and apparatus capable of determining priorities for efficiently classifying a plurality of documents.SOLUTION: A computer acquires contexts relating to each of a plurality of documents, calculates scan priorities of each of the plurality of documents on the basis of a priority calculation policy determining calculation rules of scan priorities in accordance with a combination of acquired contexts, and stores the plurality of documents into any one of plurality of queues with different timing to process classification in accordance with the scan priorities.
