Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for self shopping support capable of supporting a shopper to perform self-service shopping by using electronic shelf labels (ESL) while a shopper looks at actual items displayed in a store and expanding functions of the electronic shelf labels and expansively linking with the other data processing system. SOLUTION: The shopper uses a mobile processing device (typically, portable phone possessed by the shopper) in the store. An application program as the function required for obtaining contents from the electronic shelf labels (ESL) is introduced to a portable phone possessed by the shopper (610), and the shopper can expect to readily enjoy shopping (620). When photographing the electronic shelf label (ESL) (630), the content correlated with the item is encoded (a price display (640) is automatically changed to a bar code (650)), and decoded (660). PURPOSE: To change a user interface according to the taste of a user by mapping an operator on a user display panel to the operator on a corresponding original display panel. CONSTITUTION: At the time of converting a user interface 103 of a large-scaled computer 102 into a user interface 104 of a work station 101, the correspondence of display panel set and the correspondence of operator set available on each panel is operated between the original user interface 103 and the user interface 104 requested by a user. Thus, the fitting of the user interface can be attained. Also, the user interface environment suitable to the taste of the user can be attained.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to carry out an analysis of purchase behavior of a customer in a real store and perform sharp focusing of a targe customer of promotion and timely distribution of promotion information.SOLUTION: In a settlement by bookmark in mobile shopping, merchandise article information 760 is obtained from a merchandise article tag 100 by a mobile phone 300, and stored in the mobile phone by performing a bookmark operation in addition to a purchase operation. At the same time, shopping information 430B is transmitted to a shopping/settlement management system 500 and stored in a bookmark DB 1480 by extracting bookmark information. Then, after shopping information is prepared by reading the bookmark information stored in the mobile phone, when transmitting it to the shopping/settlement management system, campaign information applicable to the mobile phone is obtained by verifying the bookmark information, and settlement information is prepared and transmitted to a store system 700. The store system refers to a merchandise article information history DB 770 and performs settlement based on the merchandise article information which matches a bookmark date of the settlement information.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage of individual information and secret information by spyware or the like. SOLUTION: There provided is an information processor comprising an input device, a communication device, an operation detection part for detecting an operation received by the input device, a request detection part for detecting a communication request to the communication device from a task executed by a central processing unit, a relation decision part for deciding the relation of the detected operation and the detected communication request, and a control part for inhibiting communication by the communication device corresponding to the communication request on condition that the detected operation and the detected communication are not related. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the security of communication by preventing or the like the leakage and falsification of information by detecting a false communication network or a false server. SOLUTION: In the information processing system 10, a portable telephone acquires a setting program of security securement setting for securing the security of the communication by authenticating as a communication destination in a communication line, in which the security is not secured, from a registration server via a first secure communication line. An information processor executes the security securement setting by executing the setting program acquired from the portable telephone and makes communication with a relay server via a second insecure communication line. The registration server receives the access from the portable telephone via the first communication line, authenticates a user, and transmits the setting program to the portable telephone. The relay server executes the security securement setting by authenticating the information processor when receiving a communication request from the information processor, and relays the access from the information processor to the communication network via the second communication line. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable network communications to be automatically and optimally carried out in radio ad hoc communications. SOLUTION: A communication terminal is formed as one of a plurality of nodes which constitute a cluster and serves as a cluster head capable of holding communication with the other cluster members or residual nodes and equipped with a cluster head suitability judgment device 11 for grasping the state of link with the cluster members, a cluster head shift schedule forming device 12 which forms a schedule table 15 for assigning the cluster members successively for a tentative cluster head, a link state suitability monitoring device 21 which recognizes the state of link with the other nodes when a cluster member becomes a tentative cluster head, and a cluster reconstruction device 26 which reconstructs the cluster, resting on the basis of the state of link grasped and recognized.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hierarchically and network-likely manage images by correlating a plurality of photographed images each other therebetween, and to efficiently and effectively display the images. SOLUTION: This method correlates a plurality of the photographed images each other therebetween, (A) by selecting a plurality of the objective images with near photographing positions, out of a plurality of the photographed images, (B) by investigating whether one or more of master candidate images including a photographing range exists or not, as to each of a plurality of the objective images, (C) by investigating whether the other master candidate image included in the photographing range and including a photographing range of the objective image exists or not, as to each master candidate image, when the master candidate image exists, (D) by correlating the master candidate image as a master image, and the objective image as a sub-image. Also a program for executing the method by a computer, and the computer capable of executing the method are provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for creating a virtual world using photographed images based on an image database storing images photographed by a lot of people participating freely. SOLUTION: An image processing device 11 acquires image information associated with an area including a viewpoint position 511 represented by the coordinate in a virtual space via a network 10 from an image database device 1 based on the coordinates of the viewpoint position 511, performs rendering based on display spaces 501, 502, 503, and 504 for visualizing the area, and displays an image on a display device 2022. The image database device 1 stores images photographed by a plurality of users, photographing positions, which are represented by the common coordinate used between the user, of the photographed images, photographing conditions, and image attributes as image information. The image database device 1 associates the area of the virtual space having a range represented by the coordinate with the image information having the photographing position included in the area and stores them. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device that can efficiently retrieve a wireless station in existence around the device in a network, especially in a wireless ADHOC communication network. SOLUTION: A master node 710 includes a protocol stack 715, a transceiver 720, a retrieval scheduler 725, a traffic prediction means 730, and an out-channel interference signal strength measurement means 735 as major components, and a slave node 750 includes a protocol stack 760, a transceiver 765, and a retrieval routine 755 as major components. An interference strength measurement means 735 informs a retrieval scheduler 725 about the strength of an interference signal measured by the interference strength measurement means 735 and the retrieval scheduler 725 decides the total amount of the resource assigned to the retrieval on the basis of the measured strength of the interference signal.
