Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic for improving skin slackening, having an excellent stiffening effect. SOLUTION: This cosmetic contains (A) an activated zeolite and (B) a solid salt. Zeolite A-3, zeolite A-4, zeolite A-5, etc., of the formula; Mx O.Al2 O3 .ySiO2 .zH2 O (M is an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal and (x), (y) and (z) are each an arbitrary number) are preferable as the activated zeolite. A zeolite subjected to specific treatment such as ion exchange, neutralization or the like can be used. Preferably the cosmetic can be formulated with (C) an extract of fucus and (D) a polyhydric alcohol besides the above-mentioned components. The cosmetic can be applied to a massaging agent for body, a cleansing agent, a dentifrice, a cream, a lotion, an ointment, etc.

This cosmetic virtually contains no hydrophilic surfactant and is highly stable and has highly sustained humectancy.

Abstract: NEW MATERIAL:A dialkylphosphoric acid polyaluminum salt insoluble in aqueous solvents. PREPARATION:The novel compound is obtained by reacting a dialkyl phosphate ester of formula I (R1 and R2 are 8-26C hydrocarbon group) or a salt thereof with a basic polyaluminum salt of formula II (X is an x-valent anion other than hydroxyl group; m is a positive integer and 3m=n+xl; k is 0 or a positive integer) in an aqueous medium.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic with slight irritation to the skin such as a rough feeling or a smarting feeling by including an exothermic powder having a specified shape. SOLUTION: This cosmetic contains an exothermic powder having =45 μm particle diameter. The powder is the one capable of increasing the water temperature as the maximum ultimate temperature by >=2 deg.C when mixing water at 25 deg.C temperature with the same weight of the exothermic powder. An activated zeolite, e.g. the one represented by the formula MxO.Al2 O3.ySiO2.zH2O [M is an alkali metal or the like; (x), (y) and (z) are each an optional number]} is preferably used and particles having >=45 μm particle diameter are preferably substantially uncontained in all the powder contained in the cosmetic.
