    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stabilize the internal temperatures of a preheating furnace and a heating furnace, improve the yield and achieve energy saving by installing a switch door in the joint area between the preheating furnace and the heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:A switch door 9 is installed in a joint area 8 between a preheating furnace 2 and a heating furnace 3. The switch door 9 is of the double type and is attached to a hollow operation shaft 10. It is opened by rotating the operation shaft 10 in A and B directions and closed by rotating them in direction reverse to the B direction. Glass bulbs 4 located on the front side of the outlet of the preheating furnace 2, when the switch door 9 opens according to the operation of the operation shaft 10, move in C direction before being stopped at a given position of the heating furnace 3. As a result, no convection occurs between the preheating furnace 2 and the heating furnace 3, the temperature gradient of the heating furnace 3 stabilizes and the crack generation and the defective circle formation of the glass bulbs 4 are decreased.

CONSTITUTION:The interior of a spheral glass bulb 1 having fluorescent substance coat 2 on the inside is partitioned into two chambers 4, 5 with a bulkhead part 3 which is extended from the edge part of the glass bulb 1 and installed so as not to have the tip of its extending part attained the inside of the top of the glass bulb 1. And each extremity of the chambers 4, 5 has electrodes 4, 5 installed, pins 9-12 at the tip of a base 8 are connected to lead wires 6b, 6c, 7b, 7c linked with filaments 6a, 7a. In consequence, insertion of this into a socket incorporated with stabilizer offers a fluoresent lamp with small size and long life which is available as light source for atmospheric illumination.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To limit blacking caused by lighting to an electrode holding section and avoid lowering of the luminous flux retention rate by arranging the electrode holding section and a fluorescent bulb section separately in parallel to each other to form a discharge passage and bridge-connecting them near a closed end section. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent bulb section 1 is independently made wherein both ends thereof are closed, a phosphor film 2 is formed on the inner wall surface thereof, and mercury and inert gas are contained therein. Electrode holding sections 3, 4 are also made independently with their one end closed while the other ends provided with caps 5, 6 near which are arranged an electrode 7 and a stem 8. The holding sections 3, 4 are respectively attached to both ends of the fluorescent bulb 1 and they are respectively connected via bridge parts 9, 10. Since the holding sections 3, 4 are arranged independently of the fluorescent bulb 1 in this way, blacking due to lighting is limited to the inside of the holding sections 3, 4, mercury vapor pressure becomes constant, and light emitting efficiency also becomes constant.

A P-type region 5 is diffused and formed in the layer 3 so that the end part is branched through a Schottky region 8. An N type region 7, which is to becomes the emitter of a transistor, is provided in one of the split regions 5. The other part of the regions 5 is used as the anode of a diode. An N type region 6 is formed at the neighboring part of the regions 5. The region 6 is used as the collector of the transistor and the cathode of the diode. In this way, protecting elements are constituted. Elements are branched and connected between an input terminal 9 and an output terminal 10. The specified regions of the diode D1 and the transistor Q1 are both grounded.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform stable starting with low lamp voltage by constituting a pair or plural pairs of discharge lamps so that a ratio of an opening area of a coupling part connecting through said discharge lamps at their end parts to a sectional area of the discharge lamp may be above 0.04. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes are fixed respectively to a stem part sealed to one end of the glass-made discharge tubes 1 and 2 having an outer diameter of 20mm and an inner diameter 18mm each. Both are connected through at a coupling part 3 near the tip parts of the discharge tubes 1 and 2 while a discharge path is formed between the electrodes of the discharge tubes 1 and 2 through a connecting hole by said coupling part 3 while the coupling part 3 has a circular connection hole. The base 4 made of heat-resisting synthetic resin are fixed to the stem side end parts of the discharge tubes 1 and 2 by using an adhesive or so. When the hole diameter is more than 3.6mm, that is to say when the ratio of the hole opening area to the discharge tube sectional area is above 0.04, lamp voltage becomes less than 108V, which is the lighting limit voltage when using 100V business power supply, thus ensuring lighting with 100V business power supply.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the strength against the compression of the glass tube at the central portion so as to prevent the breakdown of the bridge portion when the lamp is attached to the illumination device by providing a spacer in the specified range between the inner end of the bridge of the glass tube and the upper end of the base of a discharge lamp. CONSTITUTION:The low pressure vapor discharge lamp of twin fluorescent lamp type is constructed with two glass tubes 1 coated with the film 2 of fluorescent material on the inside surface which are connected to each other with bridge 3 in the vicinity of the closed end. And on the other end portion of the glass tube 1 the base 6 provided with the electrode 4 and the stem 5 is planted. The spacer 7 is arranged in the specified range of the length L between the inner end of the bridge 3 and the base 6 of the discharge lamp. Thereby the strength against the compression at the central portion of the two glass tubes 1 can be improved so as to prevent the breakdown of the portion of the bridge 3 when the discharge tube is attached to the illumination device.

The curved parts 2a, 3a, 4a of the U-shaped bulbs 2, 3, 4 are curved toward the center axis of the case 8. Almost the whole range of the inner face of the fluorescent lamp 1 is coated with a phosphor.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the production yield loss of a semiconductor integrated circuit. CONSTITUTION:A pulse is input from a control input terminal 7 for a discharge circuit which is provided with the following: a capacitor 10; a constant current source 9 which charges it; a discharge circuit including a transistor 8; and a comparator 11. The electric charge of the capacitor 10 is discharged; after that, the capacitor is charged by means of the constant current source 9; an inverted signal is taken out from an output terminal 13 for the comparator 11 when its charging voltage is set to the reference voltage or higher of the comparator 11. The delay time from the application of the input pulse up to the generation of the inverted signal is proportional to the capacitance value of the capacitor. As a result, when the delay time of a digital signal is inspected without using an AC signal, a filter circuit 2 can be inspected.
