Abstract: An apparatus for producing fluorescent lamps comprises an intermittently rotatable turret having a plurality of glass tube supporting arms extending radially from the turret. The apparatus is so arranged that a plurality of glass tubes supported from the supporting arms are simultaneously subjected to working operations such as heating, bending, evacuation, filling, sealing etc. at a plurality of stations in each of which a plurality of glass tubes are subjected to the same working operation to improve the productivity of the apparatus.

Abstract: A fluorescent lamp device with an incandescent bulb type base cap is disclosed. The fluorescent lamp device has a luminous tube unit (1) and a case (3) with one end supporting the luminous tube unit (1), and the other end has an outwardly projecting portion (2). A ballast (8) is provided in the case (3), and a base cap (4) is adapted to be rotatably fitted to the projecting portion (2) of the case. The outer periphery of the projecting portion (2) of the case has an engagement groove (6) formed in it and a stopper portion (7) which is formed in the axial direction of the case. An engagement portion (11), a guide groove (12) and a rotation limiting groove (14) having a rotation stopper portion (13) are successively provided for the inner surface at one end of the base cap disposed in that order starting from the one end of the base cap. By fitting the engagement portion (11) of the base cap in the engagement groove (6) of the case, fitting one end of the projecting portion (2) of the case in the guide groove (12) of the base cap, fitting the stopper portion (13) of the base cap in the rotation limiting groove (14) of the base cap, and rotating the stopper portion (7) so that it is fitted in the rotation limiting groove (14), the luminous tube unit and the case can be rotatably fitted to the base cap, and rotation of the stopper portion (7) can be prevented by the rotation stopper portion (13).

Abstract: A fluorescent lamp device with an incandescent bulb type base cap is disclosed. Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of the bridge section of a glass tube in mounting it to a lighting equipment by providing a base to one end of said glass tube while arraning a spacer in a clearance of said glass tube. CONSTITUTION:An electric discharge path is formed, through a hollow bridge 3, between electrodes 5, 5 of a fluorescent lamp. A spacer 7 is provided in the clearance of a glass tube 1 in mouting a fluorescent lamp like this to a lighting equipment. As result, the compression strength of the glass tube 1 is considerably improved with no unnatural force applied to a bridge section 3, thus enabling to prevent breakage of said bridge section.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to safely perform fixing to and taking down from a lighting equipment with no danger of damage even when large force is applied to the side of a discharge tube by more widening a gap between the fellow discharge tubes combined near the base said end part of plural pairs of discharge tubes than the tip part side of the end side provided with the base. CONSTITUTION:Discharge tubes 1 and 2 are located on both ends of a discharge path while both are not directly combined. The discharge tubes 1 and 4 are combined at a coupling part 7 provided near the tip part and the discharge tubes 2 and 3 are also similarly coupled through a coupling part 8 near the tip part to be connected through. The discharge tubes 3 and 4 are coupled by a coupling part 9 provided near the stem side end part to be connected through. Further, a gap on the side of a fixing part of the base 11 of the discharge tubes 3 and 4 is made wider than the gap on the tip part side. Thereby, danger of damage of the coupling part 9 is extremely scarce even when load is applied to the tip parts of the discharge tubes 3 and 4 in the direction to make them to near each other.
