Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten the time of electrical conduction to heated parts, such as heater, required for combustion and reduce power consumption by providing a preheater for preheating air fed to combustion of a fuel in a combustion furnace at a specific position. CONSTITUTION:A preheater 12' for preheating air fed to combustion of a fuel 19 in a combustion furnace 12 is provided so as to contact the upper part of the combustion furnace. Air circulated from a storage chamber 1 is subjected to heat exchange with high-temperature combustion gases and preheated in the preheater and simultaneously preheated with heat conduction from the combustion furnace. Thereby, the time of electrical conduction to an ignition heater 21 used for combustion may be short.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the safety of a solid fuel feeding device by constituting the device with a piston-cylinder combination and a pressure feed motor for the piston which piston-cylinder combination is capable of feeding under a condition of airtightness between a succeeding device and the atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A solid fuel raised with a stepped belt (not shown) is dropped into a hollowed piston 36 in a cylinder 41 and supported therein. At this time, the airtightness is maintained between a succeeding device and the atmosphere with a sealing section 49 of the hollowed piston 36. The stepped belt is stopped with a slide-drop signal of the solid fuel 8, a pressure feed motor (not shown) works to draw a rod 43 out, to retract a piston 36, and to cause the solid fuel 8 to slide down along a slope 38 to a hollow 37. At this time, seals 50, 51 keep airtightness. The pressure feed motor is then reversed to move the piston 36 and the hollowed piston 39 forward to forward the solid fuel. By repeating the procedure, the solid fuel is fed under airtight condition. The safety is improved because the contact between the fuel and air is shut off.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain stable combustion in an apparatus for supplying combustion gas to a perishable material preservation chamber and circulating the air in the storage chamber as a combustion air by increasing the amount of circulating air according to the lowering of the oxygen concentration in the chamber. CONSTITUTION:Carbon dioxide gas generated from a combustion furnace 14 is introduced into a perishable material preservation chamber 1 and the air in the chamber 1 is circulated as combustion air to the combustion furnace 14. In the perishable material preservation apparatus having the above construction, the rotational speed of a circulation blower 13 is controlled with a controller based on the signal transmitted from an oxygen concentration sensor 41 of air in the preservation chamber 1 and the rotational speed is raised to increase the amount of circulation air when the oxygen concentration in the preservation chamber is decreased. The combustion is stabilized by this procedure.

CONSTITUTION:A combustion oven 12 is fitted with a fuel temperature detector 48, and a control means 49 determining as fuel exhaustion when the fuel temperature found by said detector 48 does not exceed a specified level at a specified time lapse after beginning a combustion operation is also equipped, thus ensuring the fuel exhaustion in the oven to be detected even in case the amount of the fuel is very little in beginning a combustion operation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform stabilized food storage without influence by span gas or air entered in the calibration or filter exchange, by providing a control means to ignore the gas concentration signals from the gas monitor until a blower has been operated for a specified time to completion. CONSTITUTION:When a gas monitor 45 is to be calibrated or a filter exchanged, the switch 48 fitted on said monitor 45 is turned 'ON'. The signals from the switch 48 then enters the input terminal of a sequencer 49. And the sequencer 49 closes change-over valves 41, 42, 50, 51 to isolate a storehouse 1, combustion furnace 12 and absorption devices 22, 23 from a gas monitor 45 and chamber 46 during the switch 48 is 'ON'. When the calibration or filter exchange has been done, the switch 48 is turned 'OFF'. The sequencer 49 then opens the changeover valves 41, 42, 50, 51 to open the pipe to the storehouse and operate the blower 14 for a specified time, thus sufficiently replacing the span gas or air left in the gas monitor 45 and chamber 46 with the gas in the storehouse to effect unaffected state.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To restore the oxygen concentration to a preset level in a short time in case of the lowering of the oxygen concentration of a gas atmosphere in a preservation chamber for a perishable good, by using a preservation chamber receiving carbon dioxide gas generated from a combustion furnace and circulating the air from the chamber to the combustion furnace, and providing a change-over valve connectable to outer atmosphere between the combustion furnace and the preservation chamber. CONSTITUTION:Carbon dioxide gas generated in a combustion furnace 12 is introduced into a preservation chamber 1 for perishable goods through adsorption apparatuses 22, 23 and the air in the preservation chamber 1 is circulated to the combustion furnace 12. In the preservation apparatus having the above structure, change-over valves 28, 29, 33, 38 are provided at the upstream and downstream sides of the adsorption apparatuses 22, 23 and between the preservation chamber 1 and the combustion furnace 12. When the oxygen concentration in the preservation chamber is decreased below an arbitrarily preset level, the gas in the preservation chamber is discharged through the change-over valves 28, 38 to outer atmosphere and air is introduced through the change-over valves 35, 29 to return the oxygen concentration to the arbitrary preset level within a short time.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a perishable food storage apparatus cable of storing a perishable food in stable conditions, by constituting the apparatus so as to change O2 in a storage cabinet to CO2 by CO2 produced by combustion of fuel containing carbon and returning O2 concentration to set concentration. CONSTITUTION:A fuel containing carbon is fired in a combustion furnace 12 and simultaneously air fed for firing is circulated by an air blower 14. Excess CO2 is adsorbed with adsorbers 22 and 23 containing a charged adsorbing material and gas atmosphere of a change-over valve 49 and storage cabinet 1 are detected and each part is operated by means 50. In the above-mentioned case, clean gas is stored in the storage cabinet by changing over the valve using time control means 48. Further, even when O2 and CO2 concentrations in the storage cabinet 1 are deviated from prescribed concentration during storage, the perishable food can be stored in stable conditions, because the concentration can be readily returned to prescribed concentration.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a cold storage type cold warehouse having high economy and wide available range by providing a cold insulation chamber to be defined by a first insulation box in a second insulation box cold accumulator temperature detector, a old insulation chamber temperature detector, and a refrigerator unit attached to the outer surface of the second box. CONSTITUTION:A power cord 20 is inserted into a power source 21 in a station or a base to operate a compressor 17, a cooling fan 9, thereby operating to store cold cold accumulator 19. The accumulator 10 is cooled by a cooled cooler 11. When it becomes a predetermined temperature, a cold accumulator tempera ture detector 13 is operated to stop the compressor 17 and the fan 9, thereby controlling the freezing temperature of the accumulator 10 within a predeter mined temperature range. On the other hand, when the cold accumulation of the accumulator 10 is started, a battery 22 is started to be charged and a gold insulation chamber 15 is started to be insulated, and the interior of the chamber 15 is insulated to be cooled. When the chamber 15 reaches a set temperature, a cold insulation fan 12 is controlled by the insulation chamber temperature detector. Thus, a cold storage type cold insulation warehouse having high econ omy and wide available range can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a solid fuel burner which requires no cleaning of remaining fuel dusts, being quiet and safe in operation and capable of performing minute control of the fuel supply by feeding under pressure a solid fuel being arranged in a row through a fuel pipe by means of the advance of a piston and supplying the solid fuel row being lined up in the fuel pipe as it is advanced by the pressure. CONSTITUTION:After a detecting section 17 senses the decrease in the fuel amount in a combustion cylinder 13, a motor 6 for belt is driven and solid fuel 20 which is formed into a specified shape is transported to the upper section by a stepped belt. The solid fuel 20 drops to the opposite side in the upper section and is set by a guide section. The set of solid fuel 20 is sensed by a sensor and the motor 6 for the belt is stopped and a piston 10 advances into the inside of an inlet 7 by a drive source 11. With the advance of a piston 4 the inside of a fuel pipe 3 and the whole solid fuel 20 lined up in a row in the fuel pipe 3 is advanced. The solid fuel 20 which lies in the downstream of the fuel pipe falls into the combustion cylinder 13 from a charging inlet 3. The piston 4 closes the inlet 7 in its present position.
