Abstract: PURPOSE:To control the heating of a canned drink in accordance with the volume of the drink by controlling the quantity of the heating output of an inverter circuit by means of the control signal of a heating output determination means which determines the heating output quantity based on the volume of the drink contained in a can decided by a can capacity decision means. CONSTITUTION:At the time of heating the canned drink, a can capacity means 15 decides the volume of the drink contained in a can based on an input voltage detected by a 1st voltage detection circuit 12 and a voltage value produced across a power switching semiconductor 5 and detected by a 2nd voltage detection circuit 13 and a heating output determination means 16 decides a heating output based on the decided result of the means 15. Then a driving means 17 controls the heating output quantity of an inverter circuit 9 by means of the control signal of the means 16 so that the drink can be automatically heated to a fixed not drink selling temperature with an appropriate heating output quantity within fixed time in accordance with its volume. Thus the heating time of various kinds of canned drinks can be controlling in accordance with their volumes.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To control the heating of a canned drink in accordance with the volume of the drink by controlling the oscillating time of an inverter circuit by means of a control signal from a heating time deciding means which decides the heating time in accordance with the volume of the drink contained in a can decided by a can capacity decision means. CONSTITUTION:At the time of heating the canned drink, a can capacity decision means 15 decides the volume of the drink contained in a can based on an input voltage value detected by a 1st voltage detection circuit 12 and a voltage value produced across a power switching semiconductor 5 and detected by a 2nd voltage detection circuit 13 and a heating time determination means 16 determines the heating time of the drink based on the decision result of the means 15. Then a driving means 17 controls the oscillating time of an inverter circuit 9 by means of the control signal of the means 16 so that the drink can be automatically heated to a fixed heating temperature (hot drink selling temperature) within appropriate time in accordance with its volume. Thus heating time of various kinds of canned drinks can be controlled in accordance with their volumes.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to operate air conditioner units in the mode of operation higher in necessity than the other mode by providing each unit in room with operation mode selection means and operating, when the number of operation modes selected for room cooling is not the same as the number of operation modes selected for room heating, in a mode of which number is larger and operating, when the numbers of operation mode selected are the same, in a operation mode in which the total sum of the differences between the standard temperature and room temperature is larger than the total sum for the other operation mode. CONSTITUTION:Air conditioner units in room 2A, 2B,... are respectively provided with operation mode selection means 3SA, 3SB,... which select an operation mode from room cooling mode, room heating mode, air blowing mode, etc. Operation mode selection control means 10 selects, when operation mode signals which are different, namely either room cooling or room heating, are sent from the units 2A, 2B,... in room and the number of operation mode selected for room cooling is the same as the number of operation mode selected for room heating, the mode of operation in which the total sum of the differences between the standard temperature and room temperature is larger than the total sum for the other operation mode and selects, when the numbers of selection for room cooling and room heating are not the same, the operation mode of which number is larger. This arrangement provides the operation in the mode which is higher in the necessity of users.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a contactless switch and eliminate the influence by a magnetism mutual intervention by connecting both ends of a superconductor showing full conductive phenomena at random temperature with two electric wires, and insulatingly housing the superconductor in a temperature sensing tube. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a superconductor 2 showing full conductive phenomena at random temperature are connected with two electric wires 3, and the superconductor is insulatingly housed in a temperature sensing tube 4. The superconductor 2 has a given resistance RXOMEGA at higher temperatures than the random temperature, and the resistance becomes 0OMEGA at lower temperatures than the random temperature by full conductive phenomena. Consequently, when the IA current flows in the superconductor 2, the I.RXV potential difference is produced on the both ends of the superconductor when a temperature is higher than the random temperature, the potential difference becomes 0V at a temperature below the random temperature, and a switch is activated by the variation of the potential difference.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To air-condition in respective rooms comfortably, by a method wherein the operation mode of an outdoor unit is determined in accordance with an outdoor temperature when the settings of cooling and/or heating operation mode of respective indoor units are different while respective indoor units are controlled so as to correspond the determination of the operation mode of the outdoor unit. CONSTITUTION:When operation modes, set by the selecting means 3SA,... of respective indoor units 2A,..., are different, the control means 11 of an outdoor unit 1 compares a detected outdoor air temperature 7 with a set reference temperature 8 and selects cooling operation mode when the outdoor air temperature is higher but selects heating operation mode when the same temperature is lower by an operation mode preference selecting means 10 and the outdoor unit 1 is operated with the selected operation mode. The selected operation mode signals are transmitted to respective indoor units 2A, 2B,... and when the mode is cooling, indoor control means 4A,..., which are set to operate heating operation, effect heating operations by only auxiliary heaters 2HA,.... On the other hand, when the mode is heating, the indoor control means 4A,..., which are set to operate cooling operation, effect only ventilating operations effected by indoor fans 2FA,.... According to this method, the outdoor unit may be operated with a proper operation mode and respective rooms may by air-conditioned comfortably.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To set an outdoor unit to a proper operation mode, by a method wherein an outdoor temperature is compared with a reference temperature to select preference between cooling and heating when the number of setting of operation mode of cooling or heating in respective indoor units is the same. CONSTITUTION:When the number of operation mode of cooling or heating, which is set by the selecting means 3SA,... of respective indoor units 2A, 2B,..., is the same, the outdoor control means 11 of an outdoor unit 1 compares an outdoor air temperature, detected by a detecting means 7, with a set reference temperature 8 through a comparing means 9. When the outdoor air temperature is higher, cooling mode is selected; when the outdoor air temperature is lower, heating mode is selected by a selecting means 10 to operate an air-conditioning machine with the selected operation mode. On the other hand, when the number is not the same, the operation mode, set more in number, is selected and the selected operation mode is sent to the indoor control means 4A,... of respective indoor units 2A, 2B,.... According to this method, the outdoor unit may be operated with the proper operation mode.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent rapid drop in room temperature due to simultaneous defrosting operations by dividing a plurality of heat-pump type air conditioners into groups of a beforehand specified number of air conditioners and providing a successive defrosting device which, while one of the group of air conditioners is operating with defrosting or in a specified time after the defrosting operation is finished, stops the defrosting operation of other air conditioners. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of air conditioners 2-1, 2-2, 2-3,... are divided into groups of a specified number of air conditioners, and in one group of air conditioners a successive defrosting device 9 is provided which, when one air conditioner is operating in the group with defrosting or in a specified time after the defrosting is finished, stops defrosting operation of other air conditioners. With this arrangement, if a plurality of air conditioners detect almost simultaneously frost formation on outdoor coils 8-1, 8-2, 8-3,..., it is possible to prevent rapid drop in room temperature due to simultaneous defrosting operation, because in each group of air conditioners defrosting operation is carried out one by one of air conditioners. Especially when the number of installed air conditioners is large, prolongation of the time of waiting for starting next defrosting by successive defrosting device 9 will not unduly increase the amount of frost formation on the outdoor coils 8-1, 8-2, 8-3,....
