PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control active access by an end user to contents and applications released on a platform. SOLUTION: The platform such as a community is provided in a WWW information providing space. An information provider releases the contents and applications to the end user by installing pavilions on the community. An authorizing and issuing organization with common sense examines and judges contents provided for application according to fixed policy and standard and allows authorized contents to be accessed. The authorizing and issuing organization limits active access by the end user to information source to maintain service quality and grade.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute other applications without terminating an application currently in the midst of execution. SOLUTION: When it is judged in a step S703 that an application has been switched, the execution of a script is interrupted and data showing the present state of the execution of the script is recorded in a step S704. When the original application is started again in a step S705, data showing the state of the execution of the recorded script is read in a step S708. In a step S709, execution is resumed from the state of the script just before interruption on the basis of data showing the state of the execution of the script.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information desired by a user efficiently according to movement of a device.SOLUTION: There is provided an information processing device including a movement information acquisition unit acquiring information relating to movement, and a control information generation unit generating, on the basis of the information, control information for changing a display status continuously in a non-linear manner according to the movement. With this configuration, information desired by a user can be displayed intensively and efficiently according to movement of a device.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which performs control to display a figure highly accurately corrected on the basis of a figure included in an input image.SOLUTION: An information processor comprises: a selection unit for selecting a figure from candidate figures on the basis of a recognition value acquired from character recognition for an input image; and a display control unit for performing control to display a figure selected by the selection unit. The information processor may also comprise: a line segment extraction unit for extracting a line segment from the input image; a correction unit for correcting the line segment extracted by the line segment extraction unit; and a candidate figures generation unit for generating candidate figures on the basis of the line segment corrected by the correction unit.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an information processing system that is easier to use than before by utilizing a plurality of display units.SOLUTION: Every time when an operation object that is displayed on a first display unit 2 is operated, a first device 3 determines information to be displayed on a second display unit 4 on the basis of an attribute of the operation object. It means that, for example, even when information created with assumption that it is displayed on one display unit is displayed, information to be displayed on the second display unit 4 is determined on the basis of the attribute of the operation object that is displayed on the first display unit 2 and the information is displayed on the second display unit. That is, the two display units are effectively used to display information.

SOLUTION: The information processor 100 includes: a reception part receiving contact position information indicating a contact position of an operation body on a contact face; and a cursor position control part determining pre-movement position information indicating a position of a cursor on a display face before the move, based on the contact position information received by the reception part. The reception part further receives an operation body movement vector indicating a direction in which and a distance by which the operation body moves on the contact face from the contact position while the operation body is in contact with the contact face. The cursor position control part calculates a cursor movement vector indicating a movement direction and a movement distance of the cursor on the display face based on the operation body movement vector received by the reception part, and determines post-movement position information indicating a position of the cursor after the move, according to the calculated cursor movement vector, on the basis of the determined pre-movement position information. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically allocate a plurality of icons to a plurality of positions set on a prescribed track in a screen, and to reduce a burden on a CPU when drawing the icon in determined size in each position, so as to improve display speed. SOLUTION: Three icons 44, 45, 46 in a position P1 closest to a viewpoint among a group of the icons 42-47 displayed in a menu are drawn by use of bitmap data of the icons called from a ROM 21 as they are, the other icons are drawn through a data transformation process such as enlargement/reduction of the bitmap data or rendering from three-dimensional model data. Thereby, the number of instruction execution steps of the CPU necessary for the drawing of all the icons is drastically reduced, and high-speed display of the stereoscopic icon menu becomes possible.
