Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent alternation of recordable amount data, etc. SOLUTION: A data recording and reproducing device is provided with: an optical pickup 62 for reading out a UID (unique ID) for identifying an optical disk 10 from the management area 12 of the optical disk 10, a PA (prepaid amount) showing the recordable capacity of contents data, and an MDC (manipulation/modification detection code) showing the propriety of the UID and PA generated with the UID and the PA; an MDC generating part 70 for generating an MDC with a UID and a PA read out by a reading means; and a comparing part 71 for comparing the MDC generated by the MDC generating part 70 with the MDC read out by the reading means and allowing the contents data to be reproduced when the MDCs coincide with each other.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the beam splitter whose light absorption loss, incidence angle dependence, and polarized light separation difference are all small, to provide the composite optical element equipped with it, and to provide the optical pickup device and optical recording and reproducing device which have recording and reproducing characteristics of high quality and small power consumption and are small-sized and thin. SOLUTION: A beam splitter film (half-mirror film 2) has a 1st layer film 2a with a refractive index n1 (e.g. TiO2 film with n1 =2.28), a 2nd layer film 2b with a refractive index n2 less than n1 (e.g. Al2 O3 film with n2 =1.63) on the 1st layer film 2a, a 3rd layer film 2c with a refractive index n3 less than n2 (e.g. SiO2 film with n3 =1.46) on the 2nd layer film 2b, a 4th layer film 2d with a refractive index n4 nearly equal to n2 (e.g. Al2 O3 film with n4 =1.63) on the 3rd layer film 2c, a 5th layer film 2e with a refractive index n5 nearly equal to n4 (e.g. n5 =2.28) on the 4th layer film 2d, and a 6th layer film 2f with a refractive index n6 less than or equal to n3 (e.g. MgF2 film with n6 =1.38) on the 5th layer film 2e.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality magnetic head which has high adhesive force even to internal magnetic metallic films and external fused glass and does not give rise to peeling, etc., of gap films. SOLUTION: The magnetic metallic films 21, 22 and the gap films 23, 24 applied thereon are formed on ferrite cores 11, 12 of a magnetic head chip 1 for product of the magnetic head by applying windings. The gap films are butted against each other to form a magnetic gap 20 and are adhered by fused glass in other parts in order to integrate the ferrite cores 11, 12. The gap films are the compsn. approximate to the compsn. of the metal at the points near the magnetic metallic films and are formed to the compsn. more approximate to the compsn. of the glass at the points more distant from the magnetic metallic films and nearer the fused glass and, therefore, the gap films adhere powerfully to the magnetic metallic films and the fused glass although the films are arranged between both thereof. The powerful assembly of the magnetic head is thus made possible.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle measuring apparatus which enables highly accurate measurement over a wide range wherein a size of a solid component whose angle can be measured is not limited by a laser spot diameter or coating. SOLUTION: An angle measuring apparatus sheds collimated light emitted from first laser optic systems 12, 13 and second laser optic systems 12, 16 respectively to both two faces including a reference prism whose angle of interest (θref ) has been measured and a prism to be measured located at a position with the reference prism placed. A position shed by the first and second laser optic systems and reached by collimated light reflected by both components is detected by first and second reflected light position detection parts 15, 17 at a measurement position where each collimated light has advanced by a predetermined distance. Therefore from a difference ΔY of the measurement position detected between a reference stereo component and a stereo component to be measured, the difference is added to the angle (θref ) to obtain an angle θ1.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whole image exposure device capable of preventing the deterioration of image quality and the deterioration of white uniformity by relatively rocking or moving whole light sources against a CRT panel in the range of the layout pitches or above of the light sources. SOLUTION: A CRT panel 1 is conveyed into a whole image exposure device and it is set to the prescribed position against fluorescent lamps 3, 3... by a panel positioning mechanism 2. The rocking of a support means 4 is started by a rocking cylinder 5, and the fluorescent lamps 3, 3... are simultaneously lighted. The rocking is constituted of a reciprocating shift of 0.5 pitch (P) in the left direction (or right direction) and a reciprocating shift of 0.5P in the right direction (or left direction). Each shift is made at a constant speed, and the shifting speed is set so that the length of the rocking period containing three shifts coincides with the set whole image exposure period. Even if the heterogeneity of the illuminance distribution by instantaneous interference fringes occurs, the illuminance distribution is moved as it is, and the exposure quantity is unified through the whole exposure period.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a thin and flexible shielded signal line by superposing two flexible stripe boards each of which is provided with shield parts on the opposite sides thereof. CONSTITUTION:A first shield pattern part 6 comprising three single-sided flexible boards, a signal line pattern part 4 and a second shield pattern part 7 are superposed and a ground pattern is disposed around signal patterns 4a, 4b and 4c for A, B signal channels and an earth signal. Since a shielded signal line 2 exhibiting sufficient shielding effect for the signal line patterns 4a, 4b, 4c is obtained and the pattern 4c for earth signal is interposed between the signal patterns 4a, 4b, high shield effect can be achieved even for magnetic noise leaked from the rotary head of drum. This simple constitution realizes a thin shielded signal line having flexibility.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease wear of a head and to improve recording and reproducing efficiency by forming a groove to remove dust on the sliding plane of a magnetic core where a magnetic recording medium enters. CONSTITUTION:A dust-removing groove 8 is formed to remove dust cutrapped by a magnetic recording medium 9. This groove has a square cross section and is formed on the sliding plane of a magnetic core 1 where the magnetic recording medium 9 enters in a manner that the groove is almost perpendicular to the traveling direction of the medium. Thereby, dust cutrapped with the magnetic recording medium 9 is trapped by the groove 8 before the dust reaches to the front gap FG. Thereby, such a problem that dust 10 wears the sliding surface 7 while traveling with the medium 9 is avoided and wear of the head is decreased.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the output characteristic at the time of reproduction by chamfering magnetic metallic thin films to a straight shape at both ends of a magnetic gap, thereby regulating a track width. CONSTITUTION:A front gap is formed across front surfaces 1b, 2b of respective auxiliary core parts 1, 2 and a back gap is formed from the rear end face of a winding groove to the back side, i.e., the rear surfaces 1c, 2c of the respective auxiliary core parts 1, 2. Track width regulating grooves 6, 7 are so bored that the magnetic gap is regulated to the prescribed track width Tw on both surfaces of the butt surfaces 1a. These regulating grooves 6, 7 are so formed to a nearly arc shape in section from the front surfaces 1b, 2b of the core parts 1, 2 to the rear surfaces 1c, 2c. Both ends of the butt surfaces of the magnetic metallic thin films 3, 4 are chamfered to the straight shape by regulating the width Tw of the track of the magnetic gap and are formed to a nearly V shape in section. Consequently, the leakage of the magnetic fluxes in parts exclusive of the butt surfaces is suppressed.
