    Abstract: PURPOSE:To display excellent abrasion resistance at high speed and electromagnetic conversion characteristics by a method wherein specified three particle components are included in the surface of at least one side of thin outermost layer part so as to function particles A mainly as the reinforcement of the surface of ground, particles B as the formation of the surface projections having the desired height and particles C as the roughening of the surface. CONSTITUTION:The biaxially stretched laminated film concerned has the lamination structure consisting of at least three layers. In one side of the outermost layer part of the film, three kinds of particles A, B and C are included. The particle A is one selected from the group consisting of zirconia, chain silica and alumina and its primary particle diameter is 1-100nm. The particle B is calcite-type calcium carbonate, which has the primary particle diameter of 0.1-2mum and the content of which is 0.005-2wt.%. The particle C is one selected from the group consisting of colloidal silica, crosslink-type organic particle and vaterite-type calcium carbonate and its primary particle diameter is 0.1-2mum and its content is 0.005-2wt.% and the relationship between the particle diameter (d) of the particle B and the thickness (t) of the layer part, in which the particle B is included, satisfies the inequality: 0.5d

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve scratch and scraping resistances by incorporating an alumina particle with a specified average degree of agglomeration in a biaxially oriented polyester film. CONSTITUTION:A polyester (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) is compounded with 0.05-5wt.% alumina particle with a mean prim. particle diameter of 5-200nm and one or more crystal form selected from beta, gamma and delta types and, if necessary, an inert particle with a mean particle diameter of 0.1-1.5mum and a crystallization acceleration factor of 15 deg.C or lower. The compounded mixture is melt-extruded, cooled and solidified to obtain an undrawn film. Then, this film is drawn 4 to 5-fold in two or three stages in the longitudinal direction at 100-130 deg.C and then 3 to 4-fold in the transverse direction at 80-120 deg.C. If necessary, it is heat- treated at a const. length at 180-230 deg.C for 0.5-30sec to obtain the title film with an average degree of agglomeration of the alumina particles of 5-100.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin sheet that has low adhesiveness in thermoforming and thus corresponds to various molding forms with a wide range of molding temperatures, a good uniformity in the molded item obtained, and a fine sliding property in the molded item, and is not susceptible to flaws at least, one of the layers being amorphous polyolefine in a thermoplastic resin sheet having a plurality of layers. CONSTITUTION:One layer of a thermoplastic sheet having at least two layers is made of amorphous polyolefine of norbornene resin. When the amorphous polyolefine layer is A, and the thermoplastic resin layer to be laminated is made B, a two-layered structure of A/B is available, and a three-layered structure of B/A/B is also available, and when the thermoplastic resin layer except A, B is made C, a multi-layered structure of B/A/C, and C/B/A/B/C are still available, and the amorphous polyolefine layer itself can exist by two layers or more therein. The molding temperature of a molded body for thermoforming a thermoplastic resin sheet is a glass transition temperature or higher of the amorphous polyolefine, or a melting point or glass transition temperature or lower of the thermoplastic resin to be laminated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a surface shape of a film, which is effective to electromagnetic converting characteristics, and make the surface shape of the outermost layer optimum in accordance with the use of the film by constituting a lamination structure having four or more layers, providing a cushioning layer between a central layer and the outermost surface layer and forming projections, which are uniform and hard to be scraped, on the surface of the central layer by particle having a predetermined content and a predetermined diameter. CONSTITUTION:On each face side of a C layer i.e., a central layer, a B layer is laminated, and an A layer is laminated on the outer surface side of at least one of the B layers. In this case, it is preferable that the A, B and C layers consist of a polyester film layer according to their electromagnetic converting characteristics and mechanical characteristics. For the thickness and particle content of the layers, the B layer whose particle content is not more than 2wt.%, and whose thickness is not less than 0.2mum, is formed on both the faces of the C layer whose thickness is not less than 0.1mum. The A layer is formed on at least one of the outer faces of the B layers, and the particle content of the A layer is not more than 20wt.% and the thickness thereof is 0.005 to 3mum. The ratio d/t of the diameter (d) of the particles in the A layer to the thickness (t) of the A layer is preferably 3 or below.
