    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a fiber reinforced metallic roll which has equivalent weight to aluminum or is lighter than it, roughly same high rigidity as an iron roll, and high heat resistance which has no influence by the limitation of heating temperature. CONSTITUTION:A pipe or solid shaft which is a roll body is a fiber reinforced metallic part where matrix metal 1a consisting of aluminum, aluminum alloy and so on is reinforced by graphitized carbon fiber 1b. At both the ends of the pipe, a metallic header 2 is fixed. In the surface of the roll body, a covering layer 3 (whose material is different from the matrix metal 1a) consisting of rubber, synthetic resin, metallic plating layer or metallic flame coating layer, for example, is formed on the surface of the roll body to constitute this fiber reinforced metallic roll.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To wind a sheet-shaped object into a very good winding form at a high speed by constituting the surface of the contact roll of a winder winding the sheet-shaped object into a roller shape with a hard porous material. CONSTITUTION:A hard porous material layer 18 mainly made of stabilized zirconia ceramic with the porosity 80-99% is provided on the surface of a roll ring 17 rotatably supporting a contact roll 13 on a shaft 15 via a bearing 16. The contact width Wn between the surface of the contact roll 13 and the surface of a winding roll 3 is kept very small, thus the face pressure near the line contact can be applied, and the accompanying air tending to be engulfed is efficiently excluded so that the desired air biting factor is attained uniformly and precisely. Although the pressing force is small for the whole contact roll 13, high face pressure can be generated, the transfer between winding layers is prevented, and a plastic film 1 can be wound at a high speed. The wound plastic film 1 has no abrasion and no aging characteristic change, and production conditions are stabilized.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin sheet manufacturing apparatus enhancing production efficiency by preventing the neckdown of a resin sheet in a casting or stretching process. SOLUTION: In a casting apparatus for extruding a molten resin in a sheetlike form from a cap 1 and bringing the extrudate into contact with a cooling rotary body 2 to cool and solidify the same, slip-resistant means 4 for suppressing the slip of the resin sheet in its lateral direction are respectively provided to the surfaces of both end parts of the cooling rotary body 2 in its axial direction. In an apparatus for stretching the resin sheet S between rotary bodies 20 and 21 having different surface speeds, the slip-resistant means 4 suppressing the slip of the resin sheet in its lateral direction are provided to the surfaces of both ends in the axial direction of at least the rotary body 21 having a high surface speed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the effect of crease smoothing and thus decrease the damage width due to contact by sucking the both side parts of a web, and inclining them in the mutually opening direction with respect to the transporting direction, and while keeping a sucked state of the web surface, transferring them together therewith, accompanying the running, on the contact surface of web guide means movable in the inclination direction. CONSTITUTION:The width directional both side parts of a web 14 is allowed to be sucked on the outer peripheral surface of rolls 26 as web guide means arranged in the transporting direction at the both sides of the web by air suction in immediately proximity to the lower surface of the web 14 through suction holes 22 by suction means such as blower, vacuum pump and the like. The suction holes 22 extend to the transporting direction, and support and encircle each roll 26, and further open in opposite to one surface of the web 14. By inclining each roll 26 with respect to the transporting direction only by alpha (5-40 degrees), the web is expanded. The web 14 is captured in a great deal of area by a large strength, as a result, a sufficient expansion strength can be obtained and thereby creases can be smoothed positively.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To achieve uniform nip to the other opposite roll by providing both a cylindrical outer cylinder and the axes which press the vicinity of the central part of this outer cylinder from the inside in a crown-like partition part. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical outer cylinder 9 is constituted of material good in thermal conductivity. A spiral partition part for guiding fluid L such as e.g. a heating medium and a refrigerant, namely the spiral crests 12, 13 are formed on the outer circumferential surface of an inner cylinder 10 concentrically inserted into the inside of the outer cylinder 9. The vicinity of the central part of the outer cylinder 9 is pressed by the spiral crest 12 and therefore deflected while tracing the flexible curve of the other opposite roll 20. The sheetlike material 28 is uniformly nipped in a range over the width direction without causing the gap between it and the other opposite roll 20.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain a control without variation in the tension of a film regardless of presence of eccentricity of a winding core by employing a suction device for sucking the film in the direction to give slack to the film. CONSTITUTION:When the tension of a film 1 decreases, the film 1 between guide roll 2 and 3 slacks due to suction force of a suction device 7, and a position detection device 15 detects the slack to make a control device 14 work to increase the drive force of a core drive device 12. As a result, the rotation of a shaft core 9 is accelerated, the winding up tension of a roll-like film 10, namely the tension of the film 1, increases. When the tension of the film 1 increases on the contrary, the slack of the film 1 between the guide rolls 2 and 3 decreases, the position detection device 15 detects the decrease in the slack to make the control device 14 work to decrease the drive force of the winding core drive device 12. As a result, rotation of the shaft core 9 is decelerated and the winding tension of the roll-like film 10, namely the tension of the film 1, decreases.
