    Abstract: PURPOSE:Splitting-type conjugate yarns are treated with a solvent to dissolve the component with higher solubility to the solvent, thus producing mixed fiber yarns consisting of a plurality of fine denier filaments using a spinneret with simple structure. CONSTITUTION:Splitting-type conjugate yarns with such cross section that one component 2, as polyester, divides the other component 1, as polyamide, into a plurality of isolated sections are treated with a solvent as an aqueous alkali to remove a part of the polymer with higher solubility, thus producing mixed yarns with increased number of split sections. The part of the high-solubility component has preferably a neck shape as dog bone and the weight ratio of both components is preferably 10/90-90/10 and the both components are preferably less compatible to each other.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:The title device designed to form cross-sections wherein the components A are completely divided by the dividing components B from the center to the peripheries, comprising the outlets of the distribution plate on the extension of the inner wall of the opening in the spinneret. CONSTITUTION:The introductory ports 9 of the second liquid B into the opening 8 are provided at the suitable positions between the outlets 2b of the distributionon plate 1. The outermost circle circumscribed with the outlets 2b is larger than the inside diameter of the opening 8, and the outlets 2b extend from the inner walls of the opening 11 of the plate 1 through the extension surface of the wall 10 to the center of the opening 8. The second liquid B is divided into plural parts by the slit parts 101 of the first liquid A to form divided composite fibers. The liquid A will not be extruded without reaching the inner wall of the opening 8 even if the centers of the plates 1 and 3 are not in alignment.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled conjugate fiber, having a core, island and sea components wholly consisting of different polyesters and having dry heat shrinkage, alkali weight reduction ratio and size under specific condition, containing the island component dispersed in the sea component surrounding the core component and capable or providing fabrics having excellent feeling and aesthetic properties. CONSTITUTION:A polymer of a core component (A) is passed from a spinneret inflow hole 1 through a capillary part 2 and conduit 3 to an opening 4. A polymer flow of an island component (B) is passed through reservoirs 5 and 5', introduced into inflow holes 6 and 6', passed through capillary parts 7 and 7' and conduits 8 and 8' to openings 9 and 9'. A polymer flow of a sea component (C) is introduced from reservoirs 10 and 10' into inflow holes 11 and 11', passed through passages 12 and 12' provided around the conduits 8 and 8' and associated in the openings 9 and 9' of the component (B). Thereby a conjugate flow is formed from the island component (B) as a core and the sea component (C) as a sheath. A ternary conjugate flow is formed in an association part 14 and then discharged from a spinneret discharge hole 15 to afford the aimed conjugate fiber having a dry heat shrinkage of the core component (A) >=10% higher than that of the island component (B), >=30 alkali weight reduction rate and the cross section satisfying formula I (DA is denier of the core component; DB is denier of one island component (B)), formulas II and III (FB is the number of islands of the island component (B)).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:Polyester conjugated yarn which comprises a component readily soluble in an alkali solution, having a specific composition, constitutes at least partially the surface of the conjugated yarn, has sufficiently high strength level and high solubility in dilution removal treatment. CONSTITUTION:A polyester having >=80mol% ethylene terephthalate is used as a slightly soluble component 2 and a component obtained by adding Bwt% polyalkylene glycol (having >=8,000 number-average molecular weight) to a polyester having 1mol% metal sulfonate-containing ester unit is used as a readily soluble component 1. A and B satisfy relationship shown by the formulas A>=-0.6B+3 and 0.25B=2.75>=A>=0.05B and the readily soluble component is arranged at least partially on the surface of yarn.
