    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce unevenness of physical properties among single yarn, and to improve strength, by copolymerizing an isophthalic acid component containing a specific amount of metallic sulfonate group with a specified amount of a glycol component having a molecular weight limited to a specific range and drawing it under a specific condition.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a shock absorbing air bag which is sophisticated in shock resistance and other kinds of durability and additionally light in weight by laminating rubber or resin on a ground fabric made of polyester fiber specifying various properties of polyester respectively through an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:An air bag used to protect a crew of a means of transportation from a shock at the time of collision is formed by laminating rubber or resin on a ground fabric made of polyester fiber through resorcinol, formalin, rubber latex and other adhesives. At this time, the polyester fiber is formed of polyester, more than 85% of whose repeated unit is ethylene terephthalate. And the intrinsic viscosity of the polyester is specified as more than 0.76, the density as more than 1.380g/cm , the strength as more than 6.5g/d, the ductility as more than 1.4%, the toughness as more than 120, the knot strength as more than 4.1g/d and the dry shrinkage percentage as less than 10% respectively.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester textile having a specific denseness excellent in color development and dropability, having dry and silky touch by interweaving polyester filaments including fine calcium carbonate and ruggedness on its surface with a weft comprising a hard twist yarn and a warp comprising a soft twist yarn. CONSTITUTION: This textile uses a polyester filament, as the warp and weft, including 1.0 to 5.0 wt.% of calcium carbonate powder having average particle size of 0.3 to 1.2 μm, and having ruggedness on the surface. The weft comprises a hard twist yarn having twist count of >=60% to the maximum twist count in the textile and the degree of denseness of >=1500, the warp comprises a soft twist yarn having twist count lower than that of the weft and the degree of denseness of >=250 in the textile. Textile excellent in color development and drapability, having dry and silky touch and free from sliminess is obtained.
