    Abstract: Método para producir compuestos de sulfonamida N-sustituida, que comprende una etapa de hacer reaccionar un compuesto de sulfonamida de la fórmula general (4): **(Ver fórmula)** en la que R1a es un grupo alquilo, alquenilo, alquinilo, cicloalquilo, arilo, heteroarilo, aralquilo o heteroarilalquilo opcionalmente sustituido y R4 es un grupo arilo o heteroarilo opcionalmente sustituido, con un compuesto orgánico halogenado de la fórmula general (5): **(Ver fórmula)** en la que R5 es un grupo alquilo y X1 es un átomo de halógeno, en presencia de carbonato de cesio o carbonato de potasio en un disolvente orgánico para producir un compuesto de sulfonamida N-sustituida de la fórmula general (6): **(Ver fórmula)** en la que R1a, R4 y R5 son los mismos tal como se definieron anteriormente.
