    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by decreasing the number of partitems, and improve the reliability by preventing the compression of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:A vane type compressor is provided with a cylinder 1, a front head 5 fixed to one end surface of this cylinder 1, a rear head 6 fixed to the other end surface of the cylinder 1 through a rear side block 4, a rotor 2 housed in the cylinder 1 in rotatable manner, and a plurality of vanes 14 which are slidably inserted into a plurality of vane grooves 13 formed in in an approximately radial direction of this rotor 2. The space formed of the rear side block 4 and the rear head 6 is partitioned by a partition wall 3 into a suction chamber 11 and a discharge chamber 10, and the circumference of the suction chamber 11 is surrounded by the discharge chamber 10. The refrigerant gas in the suction chamber 11 is heated by the refrigerant gas in the discharge chamber 10, and when the compressor is stopped, liquefaction of the refrigerant gas in the suction chamber 11 is prevented.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a shock upon starting without increasing the cost. SOLUTION: In a vane compressor, a movable valve 20 for regulating the intake flow rate is slidably located in an intake passage 11, and the movable valve 30 is subjected to an urging force of a compression spring 31 and a pressure in an intake port 6a in such a direction that the passage area decreases, and is also subjected to a pressure in a discharge chamber 10 through a pressure introduction passage 1b in such a direction that the passage area increases. Thus, the movable valve 30 slides in accordance with a difference between a force caused by the pressure of the discharge chamber 10 exerted to the movable valve 30 through the pressure introduction passage 1b, and a resultant of the urging force of the compression chamber 31 and the pressure in the inlet port 6a, which is exerted to the movable valve 30 in a direction in which the passage area decreases. Accordingly, the passage area of the intake passage 11 varies in accordance with a position of the movable valve 30.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of the sliding property of a rotor due to machining errors and reduce the cost and weight. SOLUTION: A ring-like spacer made of iron or Teflon and having the outer diameter smaller than that of a rotor 2 is fitted between the rotor side end face of a rear head 6 and the rear side end face of a cam ring 1. Fixed gaps are maintained between the end face of the cam ring 1 and the rotor side end face of the rear head 6 and between the end face of the cam ring 1 and the rotor side end face of a front side block 3, the machining errors on the end face of the rotor 2 and the rotor side end face of the rear head 6 and the assembling errors of the rotor 2 and the rear head 6 are absorbed, and the abrasion on the end face of the rotor 2 can be suppressed. The gap between the end face of the rotor 2 and the rotor side end face of the rear head 6 and the gap between the end face of the rotor 2 and the rotor side end face of the front side block 3 become narrower respectively than those when no spacer 70 is used, and performance is improved.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and improve sealing performance by simplifying the shape of a sealing element. SOLUTION: In this compressor, the communication between pressure control chambers 45, 46 and suction chamber 11 is controlled in response to the suction pressure Ps of the suction chamber 11 so that pistons 42, 43 are driven in linear motion in response to the controlled pressure Pc and the linear motion of the pistons 42, 43 is converted to the rotational motion of a rotor plate 50 by means of a conical spring 51 and a volute spring 52. When the conical spring 51 is axially contracted with the displacement of the pistons 42, 43, the conical spring 51 is also radially contracted under the guidance of the volute spring, so that because the elasticity in this contraction acts as rotational force toward the rotor plate 50, this plate rotates from a partially acting position to a wholly acting position. As a sealing elements are mounted merely onto pistons 42, 43 eliminating the necessity of being mounted onto the rotor plate 50 O-rings 53, 54 with a simple structure as the sealing element can be used.

SOLUTION: A plurality of high pressure spaces 30a to 30h which are directly communicated with a discharging chamber are arranged on the front side end surface of a cam ring 1. The high pressure spaces 30a to 30h constitute a part of the discharging chamber. Since the capacity of the discharging chamber is increased for the capacity of the high pressure spaces 30a to 30h, the capacity of the discharging chamber can be increased without enlarging a front head.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items, sealing places and cost, prevent the leakage of a coolant, and realize miniaturization, by integrating compressor constitution parts. SOLUTION: In a vane type compressor provided with a front side member 25 and a rear side member 20 arranged, respectively, on the front side and the rear side of a cam ring 1, a nearly circular arc state inlet chamber 11 with a driving shaft 7 as a center is provided on the cam ring side end surface of the rear side member 20. In addition, an inlet port 12a, for feeding a low pressure coolant gas to a compression chamber formed between vanes 14 from the inlet chamber 11 in suction stroke, is provided on the rear side end surface of the cam ring 1. By adopting this constitution, a rear side block can be eliminated to reduce the number of a part item to decrease the whole consumption quantity of aluminium system material, and also sharply reduce places to be sealed, also shorten a spindle direction length.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent abrasion and seizure due to the contact of the short diameter part of a cylinder inner peripheral surface with the outer peripheral surface of a rotor by expanding side blocks and heads for forming low-pressure chambers to generally the same degree. CONSTITUTION:A high-pressure chamber 24 for introducing a high-pressure refrigerant gas from a discharge chamber 3 is axially adjacent to the short diameter part of the inner peripheral surface 1a of a cylinder 1 through a rear side block 5. Thus in high-load operation, thermal expansion with generally the same degree is applied to a front side block 2 and a front head 4 for forming the discharge chamber 3, and a rear side block 5 and a read head 6 for forming an inlet chamber 12. Thus the front side block 2 side and the rear side block side 5 of the cylinder 1 in their inside diameter are retained under a generally equal state. The short diameter part of the inner peripheral surface 1a of the cylinder 1 is not pushed to the outer peripheral surface of a rotor 7.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent gas leaks and noises in a movable vane compressor caused by wear of its shaft and the like, and prevent seizure of its bearing. SOLUTION: A front-side block 3 and a rear-side block 4 are formed with bearing housing chambers 31 and 30 communicating with a low-pressure side. The bearing housing chambers 31 and 30 hold therein bearings 8 and 9 for rotatably supporting a shaft 7. U rings 32 and 33 used as seal members for the ends of the bearing housing chambers 30 and 31 on side of a rotor 2 are perforated to lead refrigerant gas between the rotor 2 and the end faces 4b and 3b of the side blocks 4 and 3 into the bearing housing chambers 30 and 31.
