Abstract: A a cartridge type delivery valve assembly in which a valve seat surface and a valve are integrated in order to assure good seating characteristics in the delivery valve. The delivery valve assembly is formed by fixing together a valve holder provided with delivery holes, a roll valve that is mounted along the internal surface of the valve holder to freely open and close the delivery holes and a valve stopper that fixes the roll valve onto the valve holder and regulates the lift quantity of the roll valve, in an integrated manner using coupling members and the delivery valve assembly thus achieved is mounted in a valve insertion space.

Abstract: The vane wheel compressor has a rotor (2) rotating in a ring (1) with a structured inner shape where the outer peripheral surface of the rotor (2) and the inner surface of the ring (1) define at least one compression zone (12). The vanes (14) slide in slits (13) at the rotor (2), to divide the compression zone (12) into compression chambers(12a). At least some coolant channel outlets (16a) pass through the ring in an array which is parallel to the rotary axis of the rotor (2), to carry a high pressure medium from the compression chambers (12a). The compressor has an opening at the inner surface of the ring (1) to maintain a cover over a min. number of coolant channel outlets (16a). The opening is structured to meet the conditions of the equation St=(0.08...0.11)\*Stmax, where Stmax is the max. length of the part of a vane (14) extending from its slit (13), and St is a length at a point in time where a compression chamber (12a) starts at the leading side of a vane (14) in the direction of rotation (R) with a link to the compression chamber at the trailing side of the vane (14).

Abstract: The outlet valves (20) for the compressor consist of a flat plate (30) rolled up into a cylinder leaving only a narrow slit (32) between the two adjacent edges the cylinder is pushed into a cylindrical bore in the wall of the compressor housing. There is a curved spring flap (40) inside the cylinder which is held by screws (70,71) and which bears against the inside surface of the cylinder. Air from the compressor flows though a bore (31) into the cylinder and blows the valve flap away from the inside wall of the cylinder. If the air tends to blow back into the compressor, the valve flap seals tightly against the inside of the cylinder.

Abstract: A compressor comprising a rear side member (20) that includes a rear head (6) fixed to one end of a cam ring (1), and a movable plate (4) held by the rear head (6) to face one end of a rotor (2) and capable of moving along the axis of a driving shaft (7). When the compressor is started, the movable plate (4) is temporarily pushed to leave the rotor by the pressure of a compression chamber partitioned by vanes (14). As a result, a gap is defined between the movable plate (4) and the rotor (2), and it allows liquid to escape so that liquid compression can be avoided. As the start of the compressor (that is, when a solenoid clutch is turned on), the driving shaft (7) moves towards the rear side and the rotor (2) is pressed against the movable plate (4). However, because the movable plate (4) temporarily moves towards the side opposite to the rotor, the pressure of sliding contact between the rotor (2) and the movable plate (4) lowers, and seizure can be restricted.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage due to liquid compression and to lower a temperature of discharge gas. SOLUTION: A counter bore 21 is provided around the opening edges of a plurality of discharge ports 16a, 16b and discharge passage area is made larger as compared with a conventional example. Discharge resistance when coolant gas is discharged from a compression chamber to discharge space 1a through the discharge ports 16a, 16b is reduced. A jumping length St of a vane when a compression chamber on the front side of a rotor revolving direction and a compression chamber on the rear side start a communication is determined by an equation St=(0,08-0,11) × Stmax. The Stmax is the jumping length when the vane jumps most from a vane groove. As a result, timing when the two compression chambers before and behind in the rotor revolving direction start the communication is delayed, high pressure gas amount returned from a preceding compression chamber to a succeeding compression chamber is suppressed and a rise in temperature of discharge gas is suppressed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rotation of a roll valve by setting a gap between a holder and a valve insertion space inner wall to be smaller than a roll valve plate thickness at farther parts from a discharge port, and similar to roll valve lift quantity at closer parts to it, and inserting a roll valve into the gap to cover a discharge port. SOLUTION: A discharge valve 25 to be inserted into a valve insertion space 23 is composed of a roll valve 30 and a holder 40. The roll valve 30 is composed of a pair of holding parts which are similarly long to or a little shorter than the axial length of the valve insertion space 23, and a pair of lift parts 32 provided between these. An interval between the lift parts 32, 32 is set to be similar to a width of a discharge port 24, so the lift parts 32 close the discharge port 24 when installed on the roll valve 30. The holder 40 is formed having such diameters as to secure a lift quantity L of the roll valve 30 at a close position to the discharge port 24, and provide a gap D smaller than a plate thickness (t) of the roll valve 30 at a farther position. The lift quantity L can thus be secured, while rotation of the roll valve 30 can be prevented.
