PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic continuous random access analytical system having a device and a method capable of performing simultaneous assays in a plurality of liquid samples by using different assay methods respectively for allowing continuous random access and carrying out a plurality of different assays in the same sample or different samples during the same period and to provide a method for operating the automatic random access system capable of performing a plurality of assays in a plurality of liquid samples. SOLUTION: In this method, a plurality of various assays in the liquid samples are scheduled, and then, a unit dose disposable is generated without starting an assay reaction sequence, and a first liquid sample and an agent are transferred to a reaction vessel separately. Subsequently, the unit dose disposable is physically transferred to a treatment workstation, and in this way, the unit dose disposable agent and the sample are mixed together in incubation. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition giving immune response stability to antigen and antibody at a raised temperature for a relatively long time. SOLUTION: An aqueous composition suitable for use when performing immunological procedures. The composition includes at least one biological buffer, dithiothreitol (alternatively referred to herein as "DTT"), and ethylene glycol. The composition can also include at least one biological detergent, at least one source of positive and negative counterions, e.g., salt, and at least one viscosity modifier, e.g., sugar. The buffer also can include at least one preservative, such as sodium azide. The pH of the composition preferably ranges from about 6.4 to 7.2. A kit containing the composition is also disclosed. SOLUTION: The liquid pharmaceutical composition comprises (a) the HIV protease inhibitor, (b) an organic solvent comprising a mixture of a long chain fatty acid and an alcohol, (c) a surfactant, wherein the liquid preparation is encapsulated in either hard gelatin capsules or soft elastic capsules (SEC). The HIV protease inhibitor is a combination of ritonavir and indinavir, saquinavir, VX-478, nelfinavir, etc., the organic solvent is oleic acid, ethanol, propylene glycol, and the surfactant is polyoxyl35 castor oil. SOLUTION: Various assays for a plurality of liquid samples are scheduled. Then, a disposable unit quantity is generated, and the first liquid sample 26 and a reagent 30 are separately moved to a reaction container 34 without starting an assay reaction sequence. Thereafter, the disposable unit quantity 34 is physically moved to a process work station. A mixture 34 of the disposable unit quantity of the reagent and the sample is obtained while being incubated.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that can positively connect a conductor to a jack, without depending on strict component tolerance by holding a flat cable fixedly in the passage of a housing, and bending the conductor exposed from the tip to fuse it to slots. SOLUTION: A flat cable with a conductor which is exposed from its terminal end is inserted in a passage 70 of a connector 40 from the opening of a first end part 72, and its insulator part is accommodated in the passage 70, while the conductor is led out of the opening of a second end part 74. A strain relief tab 110 provided at a housing top face 76 is turned horizontally via a hinge part 120, and the insulator part is pressed downward by its top part 123 for fixing and holding the cable onto a bottom face 78. The conductor is bent, curved upward along a support wall 98 of the second end part 74 and further is bent horizontally at a protrusive distal part 100, while being divided by an external divider wall 94 so as to be led to a recessed inner part 102. A conductor terminal part is fused to a plurality of slots engaged with a jack.
