The suspension is essentially planar and perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the plate, and comprises an elastomeric washer. This is vulcanized onto an axial termination for attachment to the fixed part. The peripheral part of the washer is vulcanized onto a liaison ring on the plate. The drive is an eccentric (16, 18) driven around a vertical axis passing through the center of rotation and connected to the plate by a bearing. The plate has circular containers holding the sample tubes in a regular distribution around the center of rotation.
