Abstract: A window frame mullion assembly for securing window frames together. Th e assembly includes a pair of frame, each provided with a catch running the length of opposing faces of the frames. A mulling strip is slid into the catches, thereby securing the window frames together. Sealing strips are provided on the frames to prevent the weeping of moisture therebetween.

Abstract: A window handle assembly for use with a window having a moveable sash. The assembly including a window handle having a pivot mechanism The handle pivotable at the pivot mechanism between open and closed positions. When open, the handle is free to rotate to move the sash between open and closed positions. When closed, the handle engages a cover t o provide a sleek, aesthetically pleasing handle structure for the window. The assembly also including a lock activating mechanism coupled to the pivot mechanism and operationally couplable to a sash lock mechanism. The lock activating mechanism configured to operate the sash lock upon pivoting movement of the window handle. Opening of the handle opens the lock and closing the handle closes the lock. This mechanism including a sliding bar connectable to the sash lock and a movement mechanism causing sliding movement of the bar upon pivoting movement of the pivot mechanism.

Abstract: A one-piece metal frame fin is locked to the wooden frame members of a window unit by exterior cladding. A notch in the frame members receives the inner portion of the nailing fin while the outer portion of the fin is recessed into the wood when the fin is in its closed position for storage, transport and use in abutting frame members of multiple window units. An L-shaped corner nailing fin is carried on one of the frame fins and can be pivoted into locking engagement with the adjacent frame fin during installation of the window unit. In the case of joined multiple window units a mullion cover extends over the adjacent ends of the frame nailing fins and is locked to the outer nose portion of the exterior cladding. Use of foam sealing strips eliminates the need for on the job site caulking.

Abstract: Adhesive foam seals are provided on all flashing components of a sunroom at joints between glazing panels and other structural members. Should water or wind penetrate these seals, primary and secondary drain systems are provided as a backup to collect and control and vent moisture outside the sunroom. A support frame for the glazing panels includes sloped vertical wooden beams strengthened by top and bottom steel plates. The beams are covered with a plastic moisture-proof coating. An adjustable corner flashing is used which compensates for any minor misalignment of front and end walls.

The frame includes a top portion, a bottom portion, and two jambs forming first slots extending lengthwise along at least a portion of the jamb. The first slots each include a screen edge retention feature. The screen assembly includes a roller assembly substantially hidden from view, a screen material attached to the roller assembly, and a plurality of raised features. Edges of the screen material extend into the first slots. The raised features are attached to each of the edges of the screen material. The raised features are configured to engage the screen edge retention features and retain each of the edges of the screen material at least partially within the first slot of each of the two jambs.
