    Abstract: PURPOSE: A peptide sensor for selectively detecting explosive and a method for preparing the same are provided to ensure high selectivity to TNT or DNT and to detect explosive contained in a gas phase or liquid phase. CONSTITUTION: A TNT(trinitrotoluene)-specific peptide contains an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1, 2, 3, or 4. The peptide additionally contains a linker at carboxy terminal. A DNT(dinitrotoluene)-specific peptide contains an amino acid sequence of sequence number 10 or 11. The peptide also contains a linker at carboxy terminal. The linker is Gly-Cys. An explosive sensor contains the TNT or DNT specific peptide. The TNT-specific peptide is detected using 3-(2,4,6-trinitrophenoxy)propane-1-amino group.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A micro-preconcentrator for a portable gas analyzing system is provided to improve thermal conductivity and the portability of the micro-preconcentrator by reducing pressure drop. CONSTITUTION: A micro-preconcentrator for a gas analyzing system includes an absorbing unit(120), a tube(110), and a hot wire(130). The absorbing unit is composed of porous metal foam. A carbonizing polymer is coated on the surface of the porous metal foam. The absorbing unit is arranged inside of the tube. The hot wire is wound around the tube. Te carbonizing polymer is obtained by carbonizing polyacrylonitrile, polystyrene, or polypropylene. The porous metal foam is based on nickel, platinum, chromium, or the alloy of the same. The tube is based on quartz or glass.
