Abstract: PURPOSE: A processing method of an oil jet for a diesel engine and the oil jet thereby are provided to improve the quality of the product by simplifying the process with integrally forming the body with the nozzle, and to cut down manufacturing cost by making the body and the nozzle of aluminum. CONSTITUTION: A body is manufactured with cast iron, and integrally formed with a nozzle. In the inspection process, the discharge flow of a check valve assembly is measured. Injection performance is tested, and the trapping rate is calculated. The body manufacturing process includes the cast iron manufacturing step forming the body, the salt core manufacturing step forming the bore of the nozzle additionally, the salt core insertion step inserting the salt core to the body cast iron, and the salt core removal step removing the salt core from the aluminum body and the nozzle by separating the body cast iron after injecting molten aluminum to the body cast iron.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A damping apparatus for a chain guide is provided to relax tension between a chain and the chain guide in a chain system of an engine and to remove abnormal vibration and reduce noise. CONSTITUTION: A damping apparatus(30) for a chain guide(20) comprises a base(31); a housing(32); a cylinder(33) and a piston(35). The base is stuck to a fixed side of an engine body. The housing is a tubular shape and opens both sides. One end of the housing is connected to the base. The other end of the housing receives the cylinder. The cylinder is filled with oil(50), and a shaft hole is formed to a side of the cylinder. The other side of the cylinder is stuck to a side of the chain guide. Orifices(36) are formed to the piston to be moved to both sides according to oil pressure of the cylinder in a middle portion of the cylinder. A rod(37) is protruded from a side of the piston and extended to the outside after penetrating the shaft hole. The rod is connected to a spring sheet(38). The spring sheet is supported by a spring(40) facing the base. Therefore, vibration of a chain(10) to the chain guide is absorbed.
