Abstract: PURPOSE: A parking release actuator is provided to increase the efficiency of a package space through reducing the whole side of the actuator with more compact composing through operating the pulling and releasing of a cable by a rotation type. CONSTITUTION: A parking release actuator comprises a motor(5), a gear unit, a cable guide(10), a sensor, and a manual manipulation unit. The gear unit is located cross to the motor and outputs the driving power of a motor as final torque. The power of the gear unit rotates the rotation of the motor into reverse direction. The cable guide is angular-motioned by the power of the gear unit. The cable guide pulls and releases a cable(20) according to the rotation direction of the angular-motion. The sensor generates detecting signals for stopping a motor. The manual manipulation unit is formed in the gear unit for rotating the gear unit by using tools.
