Abstract: An electronic device includes a camera. While in a first media acquisition mode for the camera the device displays a live preview on the display. While displaying the live preview, the device detects activation of a shutter button. In response to detecting activation of the shutter button, the device groups a plurality of images acquired by the camera in temporal proximity to the activation of the shutter button into a sequence of images. The sequence of images includes: a plurality of images acquired by the camera prior to detecting activation of the shutter button; a representative image that represents the first sequence of images and was acquired by the camera after one or more of the other images in the first sequence of images; and a plurality of images acquired by the camera after acquiring the representative image. In response to detecting the two substantially simultaneous touch inputs, a portion of the content in the document closest to the cursor is selected, and the portion of the content is displayed as selected content.

Abstract: At an electronic device, detecting a compatible external device, where the external device is executing or has executed a first application. The detection may be made wirelessly. The electronic device also receives usage information regarding the first application from the external device. Display an affordance for user selection based on the received information. When the affordance is selected, launch a second application on the electronic device, the second application corresponding to the first application. In some examples, the second application is a different version of the first application. Launching the second application may additionally include bringing the second application to the same state as the first application. For example, if e-mail is being drafted on the external device, the electronic device may launch an e-mail editor showing the draft. Bei der Auswahl der Verfügbarkeit wird eine zweite Anwendung auf dem elektronischen Gerät gestartet, wobei die zweite Anwendung der ersten Anwendung entspricht. In einigen Beispielen ist die zweite Anwendung eine unterschiedliche Version der ersten Anwendung. Das Starten der zweiten Anwendung kann zusätzlich enthalten, dass die zweite Anwendung auf den gleichen Status wie die erste Anwendung gebracht wird. Wird beispielsweise gerade eine E-Mail auf dem externen Gerät entworfen, so kann das elektronische Gerät einen E-Mail-Editor starten, der den Entwurf anzeigt. Auf diese Weise kann ein Benutzer nahtlos von der Benutzung eines elektronischen Geräts zur Benutzung eines anderen elektronischen Geräts übergehen.
