    Abstract: Metal complexes of iminohydroxamic acids are new. Metal complexes (I) of iminohydroxamic acids of formulae (1a) or (1b) are claimed.     Abstract: A method for the production of carbon monoxide/olefin copolymers in aqueous media in presence of metal complex catalysts, dispersants and optionally organic hydroxy compounds, in which copolymerization is also carried out in presence of water-soluble macromolecular compounds with a hydrophobic cavity and a hydrophilic envelope.     Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the emulsion polymerization of one or more olefins by reacting a ligand according to the general formulae (Ia) to (Ic) or a mixture of at least two of the ligands (Ia) to (Ic), wherein M is a metal of the first group of the periodic table of elements or hydrogen, with a metal compound of the general formula (M(L )2 or M(L )2(L )z, wherein M is a transition metal of the 7 to 10 group of the periodic table of elements and preferably nickel, and immediately using the reaction product for the polymerization or copolymerization of olefins in water or in a solvent mixture that contains at least 50 % by volume of water, optionally in the presence of an activator and an emulsifier. The aqueous dispersions of polyolefins such as polyethylene and ethylene copolymerizates obtained according to the inventive method are suitable for applications in the paper industry such as paper coating or surface sizing, paint coatings, raw materials for adhesives, molded foams such as mattresses, textile or leather applications, carpet backings or pharmaceutical applications.
