    Abstract: The invention concerns a process for preparing polymers of C2-C10 alkenes in the presence of catalyst systems, those which contain: (A) a metallocene complex of general formula (I), at least one of the R groups corresponding to formula (a), in which R is C1-C10 alkyl, C6-C15 aryl or C3-C10 cycloalkyl, R and R are hydrogen, C1-C10 alkyl, C6-C15 aryl or C3-C10 cycloalkyl, R and R are C1-C10 alkyl, C6-C15 aryl or C3-C10 cycloalkyl, and n is an integer ranging from 0 to 10; and (B) a metallocenium ion-forming compound, as active components being used as catalyst systems.
