Abstract: The invention relates to compounds of general formula X-Y-L-(W-Z)n, in which a hydrophobic molecular part and a hydrophilic molecular part are coupled to one another, and in which: X represents a terminal group that can create strong chemical and/or physical interactions with metal surfaces; Y represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group; L represents a coupling group; W represents a hydrophilic group, and; Z represents another terminal group. The invention also relates to preparations containing these compounds, and to the use of these compounds for treating metal surfaces.

The process avoids decomposition of the organic solvent during hydrolysis.

Abstract: Procedimiento para preparar ácidos a-aminofosfónicos de la fórmula (1) donde R1 es alquilo C1-200, alquenilo C2-200, cicloalquilo C3-10, heterociclilo C3-12, arilo, N(R4)2 u OR4, donde cada radical alquilo, alquenilo, cicloalquilo, heterociclilo y arilo puede presentar 1, 2, 3, ó 4 sustituyentes, que están independientemente seleccionados entre sí de alquilo C1-18, heterociclilo C3-10, CO2R5, CO2M, SO3R5, SO3M, HPO(OH)OR5, HPO(OH)OM, CN, NO2, halógeno, CONR6R7, NR6R7, alcoxialquilo, halogenalquilo, OH; OCOR5, NR6COR5, arilo insustituido y arilo sustituido que presenta uno o dos sustituyentes, que están independientemente seleccionados entre si de alquilo C1-10, alcoxi, halógeno NO2, NH2, OH, CO2H, alquilo CO2, OCOR5, y NHCOR, siempre que R1 no sea CH2CO2H; dicho procedimiento se transforma (a) un derivado de hexahidrotriazina de la fórmula (2) donde R2 es alquilo C1-200, alquenilo C2-200, cicloalquilo C3-10, heterociclilo C3-12, arilo N(R4)2 u OR4, donde cada radical alquilo, alquenilo, cicloalquilo, heterociclilo y arilo puede representar 1, 2, 3 ó 4 sustituyentes que están independientemente seleccionados entre sí de alquilo C1-18, heterociclilo C3-10, CO2R5, CO2M, SO3R5, SO3M, HPO(OH)OR5, HPO(OH)OM, CN, NO2, halógeno, CONR6R7, NR6R7, alcoxialquilo, halogenalquilo, OH, OCOR5, NR6COR5, arilo insustituido y arilo sustituido, que presenta uno o dos sustituyentes que están independientemente seleccionados entre sí de alquilo C1-10, alcoxi, halógeno, NO2, NH2, OH, CO2H, alquilo CO2, OCOR5 y NHCOR5; R4 es hidrógeno, alquilo C1-20, alquenilo C1-20, cicloalquilo C3-10 o arilo, R5 es hidrógeno, alquilo C1-18, arilo o arilalquilo, M es un catión metálico, R6 y R7 son, independientemente entre si, hidrógeno o alquilo C1-10, con un triorganilfosfito de la fórmula (3) donde los radicales R3 pueden ser iguales o diferentes, y son alquilo C1-18, cicloalquilo C5-6, arilo, acilo o arilcarbonilo o pueden formar juntos un radical alquileno C2-3, y R3a es acilo C1-18 o arilcarbonilo, donde cada radical arilo puede presentar uno o dos sustituyentes seleccionados, independientemente entre sí, de un alquilo C1-4, NO2 y Oalquilo C1-4, y (b) se hidroliza el producto obtenido para obtener ácido a-aminofosfónico de la fórmula (1). Se describe un compuesto de fosfono intermediario en el procedimiento descripto. El procedimiento proporciona ácidos a-aminofosfónicos con alto rendimiento y pureza de un modo sencillo y económico. Los ácidos a-aminofosfónicos son compuestos de amplia aplicación como agroquímicos, intermediarios farmacéuticos, agentes ignífugos, intermediarios de colorantes y formados de gelatos.

Abstract: Alkoxylate mixture contains 70-99 wt.% alkoxylate(s) (A1) of 2-propyl-heptan-1-ol(s) and 1-30 wt.% alkoxylate(s) (A2) of 2-propyl-4-methyl-hexan-1-ol(s) and/or 2-propyl-5-methyl-hexan-1-ol(s). Alkoxylate mixture contains alkoxylates of formula (I), comprising 70-99 wt.% alkoxylate(s) (A1) of 2-propyl-heptan-1-ol(s) of formula (I; where C5H11 = n-C5H11) and 1-30 wt.% alkoxylate(s) (A2) of 2-propyl-4-methyl-hexan-1-ol(s) and/or 2-propyl-5-methyl-hexan-1-ol(s), of formula (I; where C5H11 = C2H5CH(CH3)CH2 and/or CH3CH(CH3)CH2CH2), in which the alkylenoxy groups have random or alternating distribution or are in 2 or more blocks in any sequence. A = ethylenoxy; B = 3-10 C alkylenoxy or a mixture of such groups; n = 0-30; m = 0-20; and n+m = 1 or more. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) production of the alkoxylate mixture by reacting the corresponding alkanols with 2-5 C alkylene oxides under alkoxylation conditions, using a double metal cyanide compound as catalyst, and mixing them before or after alkoxylation or after partial alkoxylation; (2) laundry, cleaning, wetting, coatings, adhesive, leather degreasing, humectant and plant protection formulations containing the alkoxylate mixture.

Abstract: A novel polyurethane foam material containing modified polyorganosiloxane is synthesized from: (i) a polyorganosiloxane skeleton; (ii) hydroxyfunctional polyalkylenoxide side chains; and (iii) aminofunctional side chains. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of preparing the foam of heat conductivity 22 mW/mK by reaction of: (a) polyisocyanate; (b) compounds having at least 2 hydrogen atoms reactive to isocyanate groups in the presence of; (c) optional catalysts; (d) propellants; and (e) stabilizer, which is a modified polyorganosiloxane obtained as above. (2) a composite element built up from at least one top layer and a layer of polyurethane foam.
