    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a reusable synthetic resin composition, improved in heat- resistant stability and excellent in melt fluidity, by blending an inorganic filler with a polyamide resin and specific silane based surface treating agent. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin composition obtained by blending (A) an inorganic filler (e.g., glass or carbon fiber) with (B) a polyamide resin and (C) one or more in the group of silane based coupling agents expressed by formula I or II (R1-R3 are lower alkoxy or one or two of R1-R3 are lower alkoxy and the rest are lower alkyl) or formula III or IV (R4 is H or lower alkyl; n is 1 or 2) in an amount of 0.1-5pts.wt., preferably 0.5-2pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. component (A).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture lightweight and incorruptible panels excellent in heat resistance, dimensional stability and sound absorbing characteristics by a method wherein nonwoven fabric impregnated with isocyanate group- containing component and thermoplastic foam are laminated to each other and the resultant laminate is brought into contact with water and/or steam so as to harden by heating. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is made and prepared by homogeneously impregnating nonwoven fabric with impregnating liquid made of isocyanate group-containing component. Further, as lightweight core material, rigid foam consisting of polyurethane resin or polyurethane-polyurea resin, the resin of which contains active isocyanate group, the cells of which is intercommunicating each other and which has thermoplasticity, is used. Said sheet and foam are laminated to each other. By bringing the resultant laminate into contact with water and/or steam and at the same time heating, unreacted isocyanate in the laminate reacts with the water, resulting in hardening the laminate. Thus, various lightweight and incorruptible plate materials excellent in heat resistance, dimensional stability and sound absorbing characteristics and various panel materials having complicated drawn shape can be manufactured with safety and high working efficiency.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve heat-resistant stability by using a specific silane group coupling agent as a surface treating agent at a specific rate to magnetic substance powder. CONSTITUTION:An silane group coupling agent shown in general formula (in formula, all of R1, R2 and R3 represent a lower alkoxy group or one or two of R1, R2 and R3 represent the lower alkoxy group and the remainder a lower alkyl group) is employed as a surface treating agent within the range of 0.1-3.0 pts.wt., preferably, 0.2-1.0pts.wt., to 100pts.wt. magnetic substance powder. When the surface treating agent is brought to a 0.1pts.wt. or less, the lowering of melt viscosity as the original effect of the surface treating agent is not recognized. When the surface treating agent is brought to a 3.0pts.wt. or more, the improvement of the effect is not expected, and the excessive presence of the surface treating agent is not preferable because physical properties such as impact strength are deteriorated. The addition method of the surface treating agent is not limited particularly, but a method in which the surface treating agent is applied previously to magnetic substance powder is desirable.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a molded item which has excellent foam stability, curability, etc., and is useful as a soundproofing and vibration-proof material, by reacting a polyalkylene polyol contg. asphalt emulsion-dispersed therein with a polyisocyanate in the presence of a catalyst and a blowing agent in a mold. CONSTITUTION:Asphalt (a) is molten by heating it at 100-200 deg.C and emulsion- dispersed in a polyalkylene polyol (b) having at least two hydroxyl groups per molecule heated to 100 deg.C in the presence of a surfactant in a weight ratio of (b) to a of 100:10-200 to obtain a polyalkylene polyol (A) contg. fine asphalt particles having a particle size of 2-50mum dispersed therein. The component A, a polyisocyanate (B) having at least two isocyanate groups, a catalyst (C), a blowing agent (D) and optionally, an inorg. filler, a flame retarder, etc., (E) are introduced into a mold and they are reacted.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a sealant having an appropriate water-stopping property and a good weather resistance, by using a polyurethane foam which is produced by the reaction of a polyolefin polyol, water and an organic isocyanate and has the skeleton of a polyolefin resin. CONSTITUTION:The sealant contains a polyurethane foam having the skeleton of a polyolefin resin and produced by the reaction of (A) a polyolefin polyol (e.g. a hydroxyl group-terminated polymer with a molecular weight of preferably 1,000-5,000, such as polyethylene glycol) as a polyhydroxyl compound, (B) water as a foaming agent and (C) an organic isocyanate (e.g. tolylene diisocyanate). The component B is added preferably at an amount of 0.5-0.3pts. (by wt.) to 100pts. of the component A.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To assure a high output and an excellent cycle life by employing a conductive high polymer material as a positive electrode and a noncrystalline carbon material as a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:A material containing a conductive material capable of electrochemically doping an electrolyte negative ion and a noncrystalline carbon material are respectively employed, and furthermore a solution containing a compound dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent is employed, said compound ions, each of which can be doped into said positive and negative electrodes by electrolysis. Moreover, for the carbon material, any of materials can be employed each mainly comprising carbon atoms and having an interval of a graphitized portion in a direction of a C axis being 3.8Angstrom or more. Such arrangement of a secondary cell makes effective a combination of the positive and negative electrodes, whereby a high output can be assured while a cycle life, particularly a life of a cycle of the repetition of charge and discharge at higher capacity of the charge and discharge can be assured without allowing metal to be deposited.
