It is preferable that the other objective image forming device is manufactured by mounting the above electroconductive polymeric member.

SOLUTION: This electrifying member has an elastic layer of polurethane foam or elastomer mixed an electrically conductive material. Polyether polyol obtd. by adding ethylene oxide and propylene oxide to poly tol such as glycerol at random is used as starting material for the polyurethane. The amt. of ethylene oxide contained in the polyether polyol is 3-50wt.%, preferably 5-20wt.%. In the case of 50wt.%, heat resistance deteriorates.
