    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an operator to be informed of abnormality even when the abnormality, such as sticking of dust on the optical path of a reading system, arises by obtaining an abnormality detecting output in accordance with the output of a comparing means which compares the level of the original reading signal outputted from an image sensor and the threshold level. CONSTITUTION:The output level of the image sensor corresponding to the part where the dust sticks falls lower than the level at a point TH in the case of the dust sticking and, therefore, the output of a comparator IC 3 falls to a low level and a flip-flop IC 4 is set. The detection signal for warning the abnormality is thus outputted from the Q terminal of the IC 4. The abnormality, such as sticking of the dust onto the original reading optical system is warned and alarmed to the operator in accordance with the output of the comparing means IC 3 in such a manner even in the event of the generation of such abnormality and, therefore, the transmission of wrong image information is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To automatically retrieve images classified by desired items by detecting and storing the size of a mark recorded corresponding to an image, and then outputting a classification count signal corresponding to the storage state. CONSTITUTION:When marks recorded on a film corresponding to images are counted to retrieve a desired image on the film, the size of the marks is detected by mark sensors 25-28. The size of the marks detected by the sensors 25-28 are stored in FF circuits 40-42 through amplifiers 34-37 and AND gates A1-A3. The mark size stored in the circuits 40-42 is counted by the 1st-3rd counters 45-47, whose outputs are applied to the 1st-3rd comparing circuits 55-57 under the control of a control circuit 65. Then, intermediate item and small item retreival numbers of the images are applied from input equipment 60 through the 1st-3rd registers 50-52 to the circuits 55-57, and classified count signals classified by desired items are applied form the circuits 55-57 to the control circuit 65 to retrieve images automatically.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a clear binary signal having a few errors even in halftone reading, by increasing a slice level by a prescribed quantity, when the fact that the falling quantity of a video signal exceeds the prescribed quantity is detected by a detecting means. CONSTITUTION:Since, as for a video output signal 7, the falling quantity of the video output signal 7 is small in the sensor elements S1-S3, the value of N% of the value taken out from the variable terminal of a variable resistor 118 from a reference voltage generation circuit 5 through a SW2 is used as the slice level 8. In a sensor S4, since the falling quantity of the video output signal 7 exceeds the prescribed quantity, the value of (N+D)% of the value taken out from the variable terminal of a variable resistor 119 is used as the slice level 8. Therefore, since quantization is performed with the slice level higher than an ordinary slice level by a share of D%, the signals of sensor elements S5-S9 go to '0's. And when a time according to a time constant stipulated by a capacitor 110 and a resistor 111 is completed, the slice level 8 supplied to a compaator 2 recovers to a normal one.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To avoid the trouble of lighting a room lamp or the like and the disturbance of other's sleep by providing a light emitter, its power supply means and an on/off switch means to a telephone handset. CONSTITUTION:A lamp 4 is arranged at the lower face of a handset 2 so as to offer convenience to light a memorandum or the like and a pushbutton switch 5 is arranged on the inside upper part of a grip 3 of the handset so as to be operated by one hand holding the handset optionally. In connecting a plug 6 to a power receptacle (AC 100V commercial power supply), a lighting voltage of the lamp 4 is produced. In depressing the switch 5 in this state, the lamp 4 is lighted, and when the switch 5 is turned off, the lamp 4 turns off. Thus, when it is required to take a memorandum at sleeping while turning off the lamp, the trouble of lighting a room lamp and the problem of disturbing other persons in sleeping are avoided.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to make a troublesome density adjustment according to original density by adding a means which performs quantization based on reference values which are higher and lower than a determined value respectively to a means which performs quantization based on the determined value. CONSTITUTION:A circuit which performs binary coding operation on the basis of an N% threshold value leads a level 11 corresponding to N% which is obtained through the division of a variable resistance 19(R1) for density variation to the minus input of a comparator 28, and the result is outputted to an AND gate 29. Another binary coding circuit performs binary coding operation based on an N+alpha% threshold value. Further, a binary coding circuit which codes an image signal X into a binary signal based on an N-beta% threshold level is provided. When a lustrous slip is used as an original, the binary-coding result based upon the shifted up N+alpha% threshold value is outputted to an OR gate 34. When a diazo-copied original is used as an original, the binary-coding result based upon the N-beta% threshold value is outputted.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To accomplish execution of retention and reproduction of a correction signal with high accuracy and quantization of an image signal with excellent reliability by providing a means to maintain the maximum output value of a reading means, a means to digitize the output of scanning a reference member, a means to store data as a correction signal, and a means to reproduce a reference value for the quantization. CONSTITUTION:In order to correct a shooting distortion and to determine a slice level, a standard white plate is scanned and the read output is supplied to an input terminal 10. Image signals of one-scanning-share of quantity are inputted to a peak-detection circuit 11, and its output is held, to be supplied to an A/D converter 12 as a reference voltage VREF1. The converter 12, using the VREF1 as its reference voltage, A/D-converts the read signal sequentially inputted from the input terminal 10 with a unit of bit. In this way, the output of an image sensor when scanning the reference member is digitized on the unit of each read bit, and stored in a memory 14. When reading an image from the original, the data stored in the memory 14 is sequentially read out likewise, and supplied to a D/A converter 16.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device of low cost and easy in management such as maintenance and in handling by eliminating a waste of membes by a method wherein this device is so constructed as to have a heat conduction member produced by integral formation by connecting a plurality of heat conduction plates corresponding to each of a plurality of electronic components with wires. CONSTITUTION:Heat conduction plates 11-13 are provided by corresponding to each of three electronic components, and plates 11, 12 and 12, 13 are each connected with fine wires 10 and 10' into an integral body; then, this product is used as a heat conduction member. Adoption of such a structure markedly facilitates component management in the factory, the management of maintenance components during the service section, and the like because of the need of members of the minimum number and because of trouble taken only for a piece in handling.
