    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a paper-feeding system and markedly reduce the period of time required for discharging a paper to thereby contrive a higher speed, by providing a movement-controlling means for moving a discharging means between a paper-feeding position and a retracted position by a common drive source for a paper-supplying means and the discharging means. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor M1 is rotated in the direction of an arrow D to feed a recording paper, the paper is drawn out from a pinch roller 104, and when a paper sensor SW2 indicates the absence of the apper, driving is further conducted, and then excitation is stopped. Next, when a motor M2 is driven to rotate in the direction opposite to an arrow C, a discharging roller 124 is moved to a discharging operation position, and is rotated in the direction of an arrow Y to discharge the paper into a stacker 5. After discharging is completed and the absence of the paper is detected by a paper sensor SW10, the motor M2 is stopped. Then, the motor M2 is rotated in the direction of the arrow C for T sec to retract a paper-discharging system from a guide part. Since the discharging means can be moved and driven by using the pulse motor M1 and the motor M2 used for supplying the paper, paper-discharging time can be shortened, the device can be made smaller in size, simpler in construction and lower in cost, and reliability or the like can be enhanced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a recorder compact, by using a recording paper conveyance driver to displace a discharge roller from a put-away position to a working position in the paper conveyance line of the recorder after recording, so that the quality of printing is kept from being affected by the position of the discharge roller. CONSTITUTION:The length of a conveyance passage extending from the discharge position of a discharge roller 124 to the recording position of a platen 101 is set to be shorter than that of recording paper. The discharge roller 124 is put out of the discharge position through a friction clutch 115 and a sector gear 118 by a pulse motor M1 which is originally for rotating the platen 101, while recording is being performed. When it is detected that the recording paper is moved out from between the platen 101 and a pinch roller 120, the pulse motor M1 is reversed to displace the discharge roller 124 to the discharge position, and an elastic roller 124a is rotated by a motor M2 to discharge the recording paper. According to this constitution, the accuracy of conveyance of the recording paper is maintained, the number of drivers is reduced, and a recorder is made compact.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease the number of drive sources to make it possible to simplify the mechanism of a paper feed system in a recording device, by retracting a paper feed roller from its operating position by the drive force of a drive source for feeding a recording paper, before recording. CONSTITUTION:When a motor M2 is driven to rotate the rubber section 120a of a paper feed roller 120 the topmost recording paper alone is fed out, and a timer is simultaneously set. If the recording paper does not pass a paper sensor 101 just before a platen 101 within a predetermined time, the rotation of the motor m2 is stopped while a motor M1 is rotated in the direction D by a predetermined number of pulses, and therefore, the paper feed roller 120 and a paper discharge roller 124 are retracted by means of a gear 10, a friction clutch 115 and a sector gear 118 to carry out the disposal of paper jamming. If no jamming occures when the paper 101 is bit into between the platen 101 and a registering roller 103, the motor M1 is stopped, and then is rotated in the direction D by a predetermined number of pulses to be held at a printing position.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To know the in-use condition of a film and that the remaining number of frames becomes small by displaying a count of every frame after the remaining number of frames reaches a specified value. CONSTITUTION:When the film is wound, a count pulse generating circuit 2 generates a pulse as one frame of the film is fed, and plural-frame counter 4 starts counting up by one for every four frames. Then, when the counter 4 counts up to the 32nd frame, a detecting circuit 6 for the remaining number of frames detects the remaining number of frames reaches a specific value (four). Then, a one-frame counter 7 starts counting a pulse generated by a count pulse generating circuit 2 as the film is fed. The count contents of the one-frame counter 7 is calculated by an arithmetic circuit 8 and displayed every frame on an electrooptic display device 5.

When the semicylindrical part 6-a is half turned from the position shown by the figure, the opening 5 is blocked with the semicylindrical part 6-a, so that, when the toner is supplied in such a state, the toner is stopped at the position of the opening 5, without entering the opening 5. Thus, the leakage of the toner can be prevented.
