    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which the position of a sheet can be easily confirmed in the removing work of a jammed sheet. SOLUTION: A carrying passage part 100 is constituted so as to be drawable from a casing 102. The carrying passage part 100 has a display window 8 for performing a display for instructing the presence of a sheet. When a sheet is jammed in the carrying passage part 100, a display mark 1a is indicated in the display window 8. The display to the display window 8 is continued even after the carrying passage part 100 is drawn from the casing 102 and also in the state where the power supply to the carrying passage part 100 is interrupted. This can be executed, for example, by mechanically constituting the display mechanism or providing a battery backup.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent slackness of a sheet material just before introduction from a lower guide member to a transferring position by introducing the sheet material, carried out from a register roller pair, forcibly pressed against the lower guide member. SOLUTION: A nip line L1 of a register roller pair 1 is set by the register roller pair 1 in the direction further from a photosensitive drum 109 than a line L2 connecting a nip and a point of tangency of the photosensitive drum 109. The angle between the lines L1 and L2 is larger than 0 so as to take effect, and smaller than 10 so as not to reduce conveying force. A sheet material P conveyed from the register roller pair 1 is guided by a guide member 2 composed of upper and lower guide members 2a and 2b. The sheet material P travels along the protrusive lower guide member 2a, having a plurality of bent parts, of the guide member 2. Thus, when the sheet material P enters the photosensitive drum 109 and is sucked, no slackness occurs between the lower guided member 2a and the sheet material P at a section C.

A screwdriver is inserted from a hole part 102b of a cassette front cover 102 and an adjusting screw 110 is turned clockwise. The cassette positioning pin 104 threadedly engaged to the adjusting screw 110 is engaged to the cassette positioning hook 105 and positioned in a predetermined position in regard to the copying machine body 302. Therefore, a cassette front cover adjusting part 114 and the cassette front cover 102 does not move, and a front face 102a of the cassette front cover 102 and a front face of the copying machine body 302 are maintained flush with each other.

SOLUTION: One end of a wire (a loosening/tensioning means) 6 of an external force absorbing means is fixed to a fixing member (a fixing means) 4 through a locking member (a locking means) 7, the wire 6 is passed through a fixed bracket 8 of a business machine body 1, abutted on a caster 3, and extended so as to surround the periphery of a lower part of the business machine body 1 from the outer side, the outer end part of the wire 6 is locked to a floor surface or a wall surface through the locking means to constitute an installation structure of a business machine. When an earthquake, or the excessive impact or vibration is generated, the wire 6 is expanded under the excessive external force, and the excessive external force can be effectively absorbed by the elongation of the wire 6.
