CONSTITUTION: This skin cosmetic contains (A) a compound selected from a 6-20C carboxylic acid expressed by formula I (R is a 1-8C linear or branched alkyl substituted with one or more OH; n is 1-18) and its salt, ester derivative, e.g. 10-hydroxyundecanoic acid and (B) one or more kinds of compound expressed by formula II and formula III [R and R are each a linear or a branched saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group; X and Y are each R -(OCH2 CH2 )m -, H, a metal atom or an organic salt; m is 0-20; (p) is 1-50]. A mixing amount of both components is: A is 0.001-50wt.%, especially 0.1-10wt.%, B is 0.01-20wt.%, especially 0.2-8wt.%, and at a weight ratio of (A:B)=(3:1)-(1:3), especially a range of (5:2)-(1:1) is preferable.
