    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for dyeing keratinous fiber having high coloring power and capable of dyeing it in light color shade and reducing irritating odor and cutaneous irritation, and to obtain a kit for dyeing keratinous fiber. SOLUTION: This invention relates to (1) a composition for dyeing keratinous fiber characteristic of comprising the following components (a) and (b): (a) 0.01-20.0 wt.%, based on the total weight of the composition, of a p-aminophenol derivative and/or an o-aminophenol derivative; and (b) 0.1-10.0 wt.%, based on the total weight of the composition, of a guanidium salt, and (2) a kit for dyeing keratinous fiber comprising the composition containing an oxidant and the composition containing no oxidant.
