CONSTITUTION:By a center device 11, setting of an automatic vending machine 1a is executed and the data is transmitted to the automatic vending machine 1a through a transmission line 8, and by the automatic vending machine 1a, the set data is stored temporarily in a set data storage area 4a, and when a card 5 in which a special code and the set data are stored is inserted, a collation of the set data is executed and various settings are executed automatically. Also, the set data sent through the transmission line 8 from the center device 11 and set data stored in the card 5 written by a writing means 17 are collated and the setting contents are changed. In such a way, quick setting can be executed, and also, its contents become exact.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To quickly and exactly set various necessary data by setting automatically set data to an automatic vending machine by using a portable memory for copying the set data. CONSTITUTION:A center device 7 is provided with a sales condition setting means 9, a sales condition storage means 10 for storing a set sales condition, and an information selecting means 12 for selecting specific information of a stored sales condition. Also, an automatic vending machine 1 is provided with a storage means 4 having a sales condition storage area 4a for storing the sales condition, a reading means 5 for reading out information stored in a portable memory 6, and a control means 2 for changing the sales condition storage area 4a by its information. In such a state, by the center device 7, data setting of the automatic vending machine is executed, the data is copied to the portable memory 6, the portable memory 6 in which set data is stored is set to the automatic vending machine, and various settings of the automatic vending machine are executed automatically. In such a way, the system is released from the data setting, and also, an erroneous setting, etc., can be reduced.

An operator detaches the storage means 7 at any time. Storage means 7 of plural card system vendors are collected in the same procedures and are brought back, and numbers of sold articles classified by commodities and customer layers are totalized to generate a customer report. Thus, a criterion for commodity stocking is attained without inputting information indicating the customer layer and commodities.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it difficult for a third person to decode a personal identification number from inputting operation by decoding the inputted personal identification number from key-inputted data and the random combination of numerals of an indefinite number of digits generated by a random numeral generator. CONSTITUTION:At first, a system displays the random combination of numerals of the indefinite number of digits generated by the random numeral generator 3c on a display device part 3b, and a bearer of a card key-inputs his own personal identification number after inputting the numerals being displayed. After that, the system displays again the random combination of numerals of the indefinite number of digits on the display device part 3b, and the bearer of the card key-inputs the numeral being displayed. An input data decoding means 3d removes the random numerals of the indefinite number of digits from the front and the rear of the key-inputted data, and decodes the personal identification number. Besides, since the display device part 3b is positioned at a position sinking deeper than a front face, it is made incapable of being seen by the third person. Thus, it becomes difficult for the third person to decode the personal identification number from the inputting operation of the personal identification number.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make possible coping with differences among feedwater timer values which are due to scattering among feedwater pipes and differences between models by a method wherein selection is made from among a number of different values set for feedwater timers in accordance with the voltage of a voltage-generating means. CONSTITUTION:When setting of a feedwater pump motor 5 is turned ON, the voltage of a voltage-generating means 21 is compared with a first set value; if the result is lower, a feedwater timer A18 set for the shortest feedwater time is started and left working till the time is up; as the time is up, the setting of the feedwater pump motor 5 is turned OFF. With a high voltage, the voltage of the voltage-generating means 21 is compared with a second set value; if the result is lower, a feedwater timer B19 is started, followed by control in the same manner as above; if the result is higher, a feedwater timer C20 set for the longest feedwater time is started, followed by control in the same manner as above. Thus when the feedwater pump motor 5 has started pumping water, the feedwater time can be selected from among three orders in accordance with the voltage of the voltage-generating means 21. Therefore scattering that may occur among feedwater pipes and different models can be absorbed and water can always be fed in the same quantity.
