Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent condensation by automatically controlling humidity in a vegetable container by forming a moisture-permeable film formed with shape storage resin and water vapor permeable fibers on part of a cover, and disposing the moisture permeable film, separating it from a cold air discharge outlet and a cold air return port. CONSTITUTION: A moisture permeable film 16 is formed with one coated with shape storage resin 18 in water vapor permeable fibers 17. A cover 21 provided to closely cover a top surface opening in a vegetable container 20 includes a permeable film 16 integrally molded on a plurality of rear openings 22. A cold air discharge outlet 24 is disposed in a substantially rear end of a partition wall 23 for supplying cold air into the vegetable chamber 19, and a cold air return port 25 is provided substantially at a front end of the partition wall 23 through which the cold air cooling the vegetable chamber 19 is returned to a condenser, both separated from the moisture permeable film 16 of the cover 21. Hereby, most part of the cold air supplied to the vegetable chamber 19 passes through a cold air passage 26 and substantially does not pass through a cold air passage 27 close to the moisture permeable film 16 as a convection current.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve reliability of a compressor by applying a relatively low torque compressor motor and further reducing a system load variation of the motor as much as possible in a refrigerator in which a load alleviation of a cooling system is intended at the time of increasing the load of the system due to an installation environment of the refrigerator, etc. CONSTITUTION:The refrigerator comprises an indoor temperature sensor 27, an atmospheric temperature sensor 28, and first and second timers, wherein, when the sensors 27, 28 are predetermined temperatures or higher, a compressor 26 is started and the first timer 30 is simultaneously started, and the second timer is integrated for a predetermined time after the first timer is set up. An operation of a blower 23 is stopped while the second timer is integrating.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform a proper flowing of refrigerant of high temperature in a heat radiation pipe and to prevent a dew formation of an outer case without stopping an operation of a compressor for a long period of time after a forced continuous rapid cooling operation is carried out. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a refrigerator temperature sensing means 5 for sensing a temperature within the refrigerator. After a rapid cooling switch 6 is turned on, a compressor 2 is forcedly and continuously operated for a predetermined period of time, thereafter the compressor 2 is stopped, a refrigerator temperature sensing means 5 detects a predetermined temperature set to be lower than a set temperature for controlling temperature in a normal state or a predetermined increasing in temperature is detected after completion of the rapid cooling operation and again the compressor 2 is forcedly operated continuously for a predetermined period of time and then the operation is returned back to its normal temperature adjusting control.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To thaw foodstuff in a short time and insulate the heat in automatic mode after the completion of thawing operation by heating based on the radiation of a far infrared heater by way of the top, sides, and a reflecting plate, heating based on the heat transfer from a heater on the bottom, and simultaneously supplying cool air by way of a damper thermostat, and reducing the amount of radiation and heat transfer of each heater. CONSTITUTION:Radiation heating from a far infrared heater 34 is equally carried out from the top coupled with a reflecting action of a reflecting plate 39. From the bottom, heating is carried out based on the heat transfer of a heater 42. A damper is forcibly opened and the cool air forcibly circulated by a fan is discharged downward from a ventilation port of the reflecting plate 39 so that the surface of foodstuff 45 may be cooled equally. When defrosting a cooler, the power supply rate to the heaters 34 and 42 is lowered than usual and then the power is supplied. After the completion of thawing operation, temperature control is carried out based on a detected temperature of a temperature detection means 31 so that the foodstuff may be cooled and stabilized in a perishable temperature zone of about -3 deg.C. This construction makes it possible to thaw the foodstuff with minimum temperature variation in a short time and maintain the foodstuff at a temperature suitable to perishables.

CONSTITUTION:Cold air, discharged into a first refrigerating chamber 3 through a damper thermostat 14a, returns into a cooling chamber 8 through a cold air returning duct 2a in a partitioning wall 2 while cold air, discharged into a low-temperature chamber 5 through another damper thermostat 14b, is distributed and discharged to the upper part of a vessel 17, received in a second refrigerating chamber 7, through a discharging passage 16 provided at the rear part of the partitioning wall 6. Thereafter, the cold air is released into the first refrigerating chamber 3 from a returning port 19a through the cold air returning passage 18 in the partitioning wall 6 and a cold air returning duct 19 defined and formed at the rear part of the low-temperature chamber 5 and the refrigerating chamber 3 together with cold air, discharged into a space between the outside of the vessel 17 and the inner wall of the refrigerating chamber 7 from the discharging port 13b of a discharging duct 13 through the damper thermostat 14a, then, is returned into the cooling chamber 8 through the cold air returning duct 2a in the partitioning wall 2.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a first refrigerating chamber from being excessively cooled, and to secure a predetermined volume of cold air in a second refrigerating chamber by a method wherein a cold-air return passage for the second refrigerating chamber, which is separated from an outlet passage leading cold air that has passed through a low-temperature chamber to the second refrigerating chamber, is provided within a third dividing wall, and this cold-air return passage is interconnected to a cold-air return duct which is provided at the back surface part of both low-temperature chamber and first refrigerating chamber, and which communicates to a cooling chamber. CONSTITUTION:An outlet passage 16 of cold air from a rear low-temperature chamber 5 of a third dividing wall to a second refrigerating chamber 7 is opened above a closed type container 17. A cold-air return duct 18 formed within the third dividing wall in a state separated from the outlet passage 16 is interconnected to a cold-air return duct 19 which is provided at the back surface part of both the low-temperature chamber 5 and a first refrigerating chamber 3 and communicates to a cooling chamber 8. After cold air discharged into the low-temperature chamber 5 via a damper thermostat 14b has been distributed and discharged to a portion above the container 17 accommodated in the second refrigerating chamber 7, the cold air returns to the cooling chamber 8 through the cold-air return duct 19, together with cold air discharged from outlet ports 13b via the damper thermostat 14b into a space between the outside of the container 17 and the inner wall of the second refrigerating chamber 7.
