    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate a problem in a home-use refrigerator in which an effective inner volume of the refrigerator is reduced by a projected range of a control box and to improve an effective inner volume without changing an outer shape or a size of the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:A water drain port 11 is placed at the lower-most end of a cooler device 8 within a refrigerator having a freezing chamber 6 and a refrigerator chamber 7 defined by a partition wall 5 and then a defrosted water receiving pan 10 having an inclined surface 12 slanted upwardly toward a right side or a left side is disposed. An air passage 19 is installed at the right deep side of the freezing chamber 6 and further it is provided with a control box 17 in which an upper side 18 is formed along the inclined surface 12 of the defrosted water receiving pan 10.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive the alleviation of a rattling noise made by striking bottles against door pockets and shelves, damage and breakage thereto and a rattling noise made by striking the bottles against one another by providing a bottom inclined to the surface of a floor in the pocket of a door having a pivot at its lower side. CONSTITUTION:A door 5 is freely rotatably mounted to a pivot 12. When the door 5 is closed from a fully forwardly opening position 13, a force F produced by doing so is eliminated upon impact with a refrigerating chamber 4. Although a bottle 14 placed in a door pocket 9 attempts to move into the condition of a bottle 15 due to inertia force, a force F2 applied by inclining the bottom of the door pocket 9 to the outside of the door counteracts the inertia force of the bottles, whereby a rocking movement from the bottle 14 to the bottle 15 is eliminated. This alleviates a rattling noise made by striking the bottle against the door pockets and shelves, the breakage and damage thereto and a rattling noise made by striking the bottles against one another.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of door operation by a method wherein one end of a lever is made to abut on and interlock with a button slidable in forward and rearward directions, with the other end facing the upper part of a door, a pivot is provided between both ends thereof and an edge face movable rearward on the one side thereof as it rotationally moves progressively distant from the pivot. CONSTITUTION:When a button 24 is slided inside, an end 25 of one side of a lever 23 abutting on the rear 26 of the button 24 is moved therewith, whereby the lever 23 is rotationally moved on a round embossing 22 acting as a pivot. At this time, the edge face 28 adjacent to the pivot of the other side 27 of the lever 23 first abuts on the upper side 13 of a door 3, the abutment point is shifted distant from the pivot when the button 24 is further slided inside and, when an edge face 29 at the extremity of the lever abuts on the upper side 13 thereof, the door 3 is opened under its own weight. When the finger held on the button 24 is released, the side 27 of the lever 23 is pulled to the side of an outer peripheral flange 1a by an extension coil spring 30, whereby the button 24 abutting on the end 25 of the lever 23 is moved back to the original position. This permits the door to be opened easily even by a finger tip control.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate work of mounting and removing a partition plate by providing an engaging hole for engaging the partition plate in a rear portion of the partition plate constituting a partition wall within a refrigerator and providing an engagement member at a position opposite to the engaging hole in a rear portion of a partition plate to be engaged. SOLUTION: A partition wall within a refrigerator is formed by a partition plate 2 and a partition plate 4 to be engaged with the partition plate 2 and a plurality of engaging holes for engaging the partition plate 4 behind the partition plate 2 are formed, and a plurality of engaging members 8 are formed in a rear portion of the partition plate 4 at positions opposite to the engaging holes and the engaging members 8 have different heights in forward and backward directions. When the partition plate 4 is installed, the highest engaging member is first inserted into the engaging hole. Then, the other engaging members become easy to be inserted and the engaging member located in the lowest step is first inserted into the engaging hole located in the lowest step and functions as a guide for inserting the other engaging members so that work of installing the partition plate is facilitated.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawer structure of a storing container used in a refrigerator, wherein the storing container has a simplified construction which succeeds in reducing the number of parts thereof, whereby the storing container can be offered at a low cost. SOLUTION: A drawer structure of a storing container 14 used in a refrigerator requires no independent rails. Namely, a pair of rollers 15 and a pair of bearings 20 which support these rollers 15 are mounted at right and left sides of a front portion of a partition plate 11 which divides the inside of a refrigerator into upper and lower storing spaces. A rail 17 for preventing the swaying of the storing container 14 at the time of drawing is mounted on the partition plate 11 between the rollers 15 in a longitudinal direction. On the bottom face of the storing container 14 which slides in a longitudinal direction, a pair of guide ribs 18 are mounted in a longitudinal direction, while a pair of rollers 16 are mounted at right and left sides of a rear portion of the bottom face of the storing container 14. Due to such a construction, the drawer structure can be made compact and the number of parts is reduced so that the drawer structure can be offered at a low cost while preventing the swaying of the drawing container at the time of the drawing operation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To make a tipping-preventing means attachable at the front surface, and improve the installability by attaching a belt for tipping-prevention to an adjusting leg attaching plate which is provided at a lower area on the front surface of a refrigerator main body. CONSTITUTION: An adjusting leg attaching plate 7 is attached to a front lower part of a refrigerator main body 1, and an adjusting leg 8 is attached on the front surface by screwing. Also, a recessed part 9 is formed at an area which is one step lower than the attaching surface of the adjusting leg attaching plate 7, and a hole 10 through which a belt 12 for tipping-prevention is made to pass is made on the recessed part 9. Before the refrigerator main body 1 is housed in a refrigerator housing area in a system kitchen, one end of the belt 12 is made to pass through a hook 2 at an upper part of the back surface of the refrigerator main body 1, and the end is fixed by a fixing part 13. Then, the other end of the belt 12 is made to pass through a hole of a metal fitting which is attached on the wall surface of the housing area, and in addition, the other end is positioned on the front surface of the refrigerator main body 1. Then, the refrigerator main body 1 is pushed into the refrigerator housing area, and at the same time, the belt 12 is pulled, and the refrigerator main body 1 is housed and set. Then, the other end of the belt 12 is made to pass through the hole 10, and fixed by the fixing apparatus 13.
