    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having an effective storage chamber layout and an effective illumination layout improved in facility of usage of a refrigerating storage section. SOLUTION: A first refrigerating chamber 15 having a hinge closing door 20 and a second refrigerating chamber 17 having a drawer type door 22 are laterally partitioned from each other by a first partition wall 13. A shelf 27 having a plurality of stages is situated in the first refrigerating chamber 15, and a plurality of chamber lights 25 are vertically contained in a space in the first partition wall 13. By situating a translucent plate 26 on the surface of the first partition wall 13 throughout the shelf 27 having a plurality of stages, effective illumination to articles on the shelf with a plurality of stages is practicable as effective utilization of an ineffective space in the first partition wall 13 is carried out.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having such a door structure as a door supporter is not removed easily at the time of practical use and the inner space of compartment can be used effectively. SOLUTION: Stop holes 21 are made in the outer side face 20 at rising parts 17, 18 formed integrally on the opposite sides of the inner plate 16 of a door 15 and a door supporter 23 having projecting parts 25 being bent integrally at the opposite ends of a front supporting part 24 is provided. Since a stop claw 27 engaging with the stop hole 21 is provided on the inner side face 26 of the projecting part 25, the inner side face 26 of the projecting part 25 moves in the direction for embracing the rising parts 17, 18 when a force is applied to bend the door supporter 23 at the time of opening/closing the door and the stop claw 27 is not disengaged from the stop hole 21. Since the door supporter 23 is not enlarged nor the rising parts 17, 18 are widened at the time of holding, space in the compartment is not invaded.

SOLUTION: In-refrigerator lamps 25a and 25b to illuminate the inside of a cold storage room are attached in the space partitioned by walls on both right and left sides of the chill passage 23 at the inner center within the cold storage room 19, and in-refrigerator lamp covers 31a and 31b are attached to the rims of the space, whereby the interior of the cold storage room 19 can be illuminated every nook and corner from both right and left sides of the back face of the cold storage room 19, so it follows that the foods stored in the refrigerator is easy to see and that the convenience in use rises.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator defining a refrigerating chamber in an upper layer and a drawer-type freezing chamber in a lower layer while having an ice making device therein, wherein the refrigerator is featured by an enlarged ice storing space and an improvement in handling of an ice scoop. SOLUTION: A freezing container 26 is provided with a partition wall 29 as an integral part thereof for defining a frozen food storing corner 27 and an ice storing corner 28. An ice storing box 30 is mounted in the ice storing corner 28 along the inner wall thereof. The partition plate 29 is provided with a crossing region 32 at a front portion of the outer side wall of the ice storing box 30 and such a crossing region 32 merges with the front wall 31 of the ice storing corner. The crossing region 32 is indented toward the frozen food storing corner 27 to define a recessed portion 33. Numeral 34 indicates a guide rib and an opening of the recessed portion 33 is disposed at an outer side wall of the ice storing box 30. Since an ice scoop 35 can be set between the recessed portion 33 formed toward the frozen food storing corner 27 and the guide rib 34, the ice storing box 30 can expand its storing space to a front wall of the freezing container thus assuring a maximum ice storing space.
