Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a smooth movement of a shelf by a method wherein a refrigerator is provided with a front shelf and a rear shelf combined to each other in such a way as one shelf is positioned below the other shelf, and sliding members fixed at deep right and left sides of a frame for holding the shelves are moved up and down on a rack. CONSTITUTION:When a shelf 1 of a shelf device is moved up and down, a dial 6 is rotated, resulting in that a dial shaft 7 and a driving gear 8 are rotated. A turning gear 9 engaged with the driving gear 8 is rotated, spur gears 5 at both sides are rotated together with a gear shaft 4. Spur gears 5 are moved in a sliding groove 14a through the gear shaft 4 while engaging with a rack 14b at a front surface side and then the shelf 1 is moved up and down in the same manner at the right and left sides. A front shelf 1a and a rear shelf 1b are integrally coupled to each other in their operation while the front shelf 1a is being slid and supported in a shelf receiving groove 2d. When the front shelf 1a is pushed rearwardly from this state, an end part 1d of the front shelf 1a is slid in a shelf receiving groove 2d and supported by a concave part 2e arranged in a range of the shelf receiving groove 2d, positioned below the rear shelf 1b. A releasing part is formed at a front side of the shelf 1 and a high food can be stored there.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform a smooth movement of shelves by a method wherein a front shelf and a rear shelf combined to cause one of the shelves to be located below the other shelf in a refrigerator are arranged and a sliding member for a U-shaped frame for use in holding the shelves is moved up and down on a rack. CONSTITUTION:When a shelf 1 of a shelf device is moved up and down, a dial 6 is rotated to cause a dial shaft 7 and a driving gear 8 to be rotated. A rotating gear 9 engaged with the driving gear 8 is rotated and the spur gears 5 at both sides are rotated together with the gear shaft 4. The spur gears 5 are moved whole being engaged with a rack 14b through a gear shaft 4, the frame 2, i.e. the shelf 1 is moved up and down in the same manner at the right and left sides and thus positional displacement in right and left heights does not occur. A front shelf 1a and a rear shelf 1b are integrally connected while the front shelf 1a being slidably supported at a shelf receiving groove 2d. When the front shelf 1a is pushed rearwardly, the front shelf 1a is slid in a shelf receiving groove 2d, slidably supported by a concave part 2e arranged within a shelf receiving groove 2d, positioned below the rear shelf 1b, a releasing part is formed in front of the shelf 1 and thus a high food can be stored in a lower stage.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the airtightness of refrigerator by providing a cap to the upper and lower ends of a partition which has a guide projection which is vertically extendable as it slides on the guide surface and a sealing material in front of the cap which is interlocked with the extension and contraction of the guide projection to remain in contact with the center of an opening. CONSTITUTION:Cap sections 16 are disposed in the upper and lower parts of a partition, and the front surface of a guide section 21 is made planar and is nearly flush with an opening 5A. As the door 6A is closed, the partition 15 intrudes into the cabinet interior 13 to cause a guide projection 17 to come in contact with a semi-circular groove 19 in the guide section 21. As the guide projection 17 further moves along the inclined semi-circular groove 19, the sealing material 18 is raised against the force of a spring 22 to allow the partition 15 to rotate counterclockwise. When the door 6A is closed, the gasket on the non-hinged side of the doors 6A, 6B is in tight contact with the front surface of the partition 15, and the sealing material 18 becomes also in tight contact with the upper and lower surfaces of the center of the opening 5A to seal the cabinet interior airtightly.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent longitudinal shaking of a contained storage container when a door is opened, by a method wherein guide rails and a bottle stopper mounted to the guide rails are situated to the side walls of a storage shelf, and the bottle stopper is contained in a containing part formed to the front wall of the storage shelf. CONSTITUTION:By sliding a bolt stopper 15 over the guide rails 14 placed on side walls 12, a storage container can be prevented from longitudinal shaking. By containing the bolt stopper 15 in a containing part 16 in a manner to rotate this side, the containing part can be used without forming an ineffective space. Since the bolt stopper is mounted on the guide rails 14 installed on the side walls 12 and the bolt stopper containing part 16 is situated to the front wall of the storage container, the storage container 11 can be prevented from longitudinal shaking during opening and closing of the door.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive rationalization by dispensing with an exclusive mold by rearranging cores to make the bottom surface of a handle alterable between the presence and absence of a notch. CONSTITUTION:A male mold 1 has an asymmetric protruding part 6 protruding toward a female mold 2 in the longitudinal direction of a rectangular pedestal 4 to be inserted in a recessed part 5 and forming a space 3 along with the female mold 2 and projections 9, 10 brought into contact with the female mold 2 to form mount screw insert holes 8 are formed to both end parts of the protruding part 6. A groove 11 in which a core is inserted is formed to the pedestal 4 outside one projection 9. As the core, two kinds of cores 14, 15 are prepared and, in order to form a notch 16 to the bottom surface of a handle A by one core 14, the third protruding part 17 protruding upwardly is formed to the core 14. By this constitution, by rearranging the cores, the handle whose bottom surface has a notch and the one whose bottom surface has no notch can be selectively formed.

CONSTITUTION:Recessed parts 37 respectively engaging with cores A31, B32 and recessed parts 38 respectively engaging with cores C34, D36 are provided to handle molds 30. A protruding part 33 for molding the notch hole 29 of the handle base of a freezing chamber is formed to the core B32 and a protruding part 35 for molding the notch hole 29 of the handle base of a refrigerating chamber is formed to the core C34. By combining these cores with the molds, a handle having a notch or a handle having no notch can be molded and, therefore, mold cost or a mold preparing time is reduced and, when one injection molding machine is used, mold mounting labor is reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having double swinging doors in which nonuniformity of temperature is suppressed in the storage compartment and dew formation is prevented on a rotary partition while reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: Inside of a refrigerator body 50 is sectioned by means of a partition 97 to provide a refrigeration compartment 56 at the upper part and first and second double swinging doors 66A, 66B provided at the front opening of the refrigeration compartment 56 are sealed with a rotary partition 68. In such a refrigerator, a chill outlet duct 87 and a chill inlet duct 98 are provided, respectively, in the top face and bottom face of the refrigeration compartment 56. A chill outlet 89 opening to the front of the chill outlet duct 87 and the chill outlet 99 of the chill inlet duct opening in front of the partition 97 are arranged to keep away from the vicinity of the rotary partition 68 thus preventing dew formation on the periphery of the rotary partition 68 while keeping a correct indoor temperature distribution. Furthermore, power can be saved because duty factor of a heater 107 in the rotary partition 68 is varied depending on the set position of a refrigeration compartment temperature regulating means 108.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stable cooling performance in a refrigerator in which a condenser is forcedly cooled with a cooling fan. SOLUTION: Upon passing through a demountable filter 11 provided frontally of a suction inlet 5 in a machine chamber 4 and having a plurality of vent holes cooling air by a forced ventilation action of a cooling fan, dust is caught by an internal periphery end surface of the vent holes. When the plurality of the vent holes are clogged with dust, the dust is removed by a hand of a user by removing the filter 11, and hence no dust is deposited on the condenser to ensure stable cooling performance without causing any heat dissipation problem.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save electric power by disposing a refrigerating compartment and a freezing compartment, respectively, at an upper and lower parts of the body, disposing a vegetable compartment contiguously to the refrigerating compartment between the refrigerating compartment and the freezing compartment and juxtaposing an ice making compartment and a switching compartment between the vegetable compartment and the freezing compartment. SOLUTION: A refrigerating compartment 5 being set at about 4 deg.C is disposed at an upper part of the body and a vegetable compartment 6 being set at about 6 deg.C is disposed below. An ice making compartment 7 being set at about -18 deg.C and a switching compartment 8 are disposed below the vegetable compartment 6 and a freezing compartment 9 being set at about -18 deg.C is disposed thereunder. Since the freezing compartment 9 having lowest temperature is disposed at a lower part, effect of conduction and radiation heat can be reduced and power can be saved through reduction of load on the compressor and motor fan. Furthermore, inner volume can be increased because heat insulation is required only on the upper side.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drain water to the inlet air duct of a refrigerating chamber and exhaust water to a drain even when water is spelled near a thermocase by providing a through hole through which the thermocase communicates with the inlet air duct of the refrigerating chamber. SOLUTION: A thermocase 6 communicates with the inlet air duct 12 of a refrigerating chamber by a through hole 15 through the heat insulating material 11' of a partition chamber 10'. Water entering the thermocase 6 is guided to the inlet air duct 12 of the refrigerating chamber through the through hole 15 provided below the thermocase 6 and drained by a drain 14. Further, even when convection is blocked due to food, etc., placed on the through hole 15, cold air circulates through the through hole 15 so the temperature of the refrigerating chamber can be controlled to prescribed temperature. Thus, the temperature of the refrigerating chamber can be prevented from being excessively lowered to prescribed temperature or lower and electric charges from being wastefully consumed.
