Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a compressor wherein efficiency is stabilized through stabilization of the size of a gap between a stator and a rotor and there is no need for a different part, except a block, in order to contain a rolling bearing (a ball bearing or a roller bearing). CONSTITUTION:A crank shaft 24, a ball bearing 25a by which a the crank shaft is axially supported, and a block 26 by which the bearing is supported are provided. The block is a bowl-form iron plate molded product or cast iron casting and provided at its central part with a bearing holding part 27. Further, the crank shaft 24 forms straddle mounted structure by means of other bearing holding part 30 and other rolling bearing.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve volume efficiency and energy efficiency by extending a suction tube inward from an upper shell, with the outlet thereof facing downward, and disposing this suction tube opposedly in proximity to the inlet opening part of an intake muffler made of insulating plastic material. CONSTITUTION:A suction tube 5, rigidly fixed to the circular face of the upper shell 1a of a closed container, is extended inward from the upper shell 1a, with the outlet 5a thereof facing downward, and disposed opposedly in proximity to the inlet opening part 4a of a insulating plastic made intake muffler 4 fixed to a compression element 2. Refrigerant gas returned from an outside refrigerant circuit is led to a cylinder 8 from the suction tube 5 through the muffler 4. In this case, a suction passage to the muffler 4 inside the closed container 1 can be shortened to reduce passage loss. Also, since the suction tube 5 is fixed not to a lower shell 1b warmed by oil 30 and the compression element 2 of large calorific power during the operation of a refrigerant compressor but to the upper shell 1a, conductive heat can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the assembly workability by inserting a communication pipe of a suction muffler which is made of the material having the low thermal conductivity such as synthetic resin and communicates between an insertion hole on a cylinder head and a cut part on a cap, into an insertion hole of the cylinder head and fixing the communication pipe, having the cylinder head interposed, by an installation leg. CONSTITUTION:As for a cylinder 6 which constitutes a compression element 3 in an insertion hole 4 formed on the upper surface side of the cylinder head 4 of a hermetic type motor-driven compressor, a valve plate 5 and the cylinder head 4 are installed by a screw N, and an insertion pipe 7 is inserted. In this case, a suction muffler 9 made of synthetic resin (e.g. polybutylen terephthalate) is constituted of the upper and lower chambers 9a and 9b, and the insertion pipe 7 is inserted into the upper chamber 9a, and a communication pipe 10 is shaped integrally with the lower part 9b of the suction muffler 9. An installation leg 10a which is shaped integrally with a communication pipe 10 is fixed onto the cylinder head 4. A cap 11 is arranged in a suction chamber 4b, and the communication pipe 10 of the suction muffler 9 is inserted into a cut part 11c formed on the upper surface of the cap 11.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce heating of refrigerant gas, guided to a suction chamber, so as to improve volumetric efficiency by mounting a heating insulating cap of PBT or the like with small heat conductivity so as to provide a heat insulating layer in a space from an internal wall of the suction chamber. CONSTITUTION:Refrigerant gas of low pressure and low temperature, returned from a refrigerant cycle (not shown in the drawing), is guided to a cylinder 10 through a suction muffler 18. Here a heat insulating cap 20, consisting of PBT or the like with small heat conductivity, is mounted so as to provide a heat insulating layer 21 between itself and an internal wall of a suction chamber 7. Heating of the suction refrigerant gas, inflowing into the suction chamber 7 from a cylinder head 6 heated to a high temperature, is reduced by the heat insulating cap 20 and refrigerant gas with which the heat insulating layer 21 is filled.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the clearance volume of a discharge hole so sharply by forming a circular recess in a valve plate, and setting up the discharge hole in a minimum thick part of this recess, while setting up a discharge lead along a circular curved surface of the recess. CONSTITUTION:A recess 2a made up of circular sectional form is formed in a valve plate 2 of a discharge valve gear 1, while a discharge hole 2c is formed in a minimum thick part of this recess 2a. In addition, a discharge lead 3 of a valve mechanism 4 is made up of a plate to open or close this discharge hole 2c, while it is set up along the recess 2a. Moreover, a discharge valve pin 5 is pressed in the valve plate 2 for tight installation, thereby supporting the valve mechanism 4. In brief, the discharge hole 2c is set up in the minimum thick part of the valve plate 2, through which the clearance volume is sharply reduced. With this constitution, refrigerating capacity and energy efficiency in a compressor are improved each.

CONSTITUTION:A crosshead 1 provides in its mounting part of a piston 3 a raised cut 2, while the piston 3 forms in its rear end part an opening part 4. The mounting method, fitting the raised cut 2 of the crosshead 1 into the opening part 4 of the piston 3 and temporarily fixing both the piston and the crosshead thereafter performing brazing, enables both the piston and the crosshead to be easily secured and assembled.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make common use of a press winding line when a single phase induction electric motor is manufactured by forming a stator electromagnetic steel plate of a single phase induction electric motor part housed in a sealed case in an external shape according to output, and forming a slot shape of the stator electromagnetic steel plate in a specific shape regardless of its external shape. SOLUTION: In a stator of a single phase induction electric motor part, a stator core formed by fitting and laiminating an almost rectangular stator electromagnetic steel plate 23, is provided as a main member, and a main winding and an auxiliary winding arranged in a 90 deg. position to the main winding, are wound round this. A large slot 26 in which the main winding is installed and a small slot 27 in which the auxiliary winding is installed, are formed in respective stator electromagnetic steel plates 23, but when a high output type sealed compressor is manufactured, a stator electromagnetic steel plate 32 by enlarging a shape of the stator electromagnetic steel plate 23 without changing a shape of the large slot 26 and the small slot 27 of the stator electromagnetic steel plate 23, is applied. Therefore, common use of a press winding line of the stator electromagnetic steel plate can be realized.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive bracket capable of effectively preventing foreign matters from intruding into a cover of electrical equipment by continuously connecting a cover holder molded by bending a flat plate into a substantially U-shape to dust-proofing back plates oriented toward a compressor body in the bracket having the cover of the electrical equipment fitted therearound. SOLUTION: A bracket, which is fixed to a substantially globular sealed container by welding in such a manner as to surround a glass terminal disposed in a compressor body, is formed into a substantially U shaped by bending its side plates 13b, 13c almost perpendicularly on lines A, B. A part of a bottom plate 13d formed at the bracket is bent on a line C, thereby forming a protecting plate 13e. Dust-proofing back plates 13f, 13g, 13h are bent almost perpendicularly on lines D, E and F, respectively. The bracket can be molded into a substantial case, the dust-proofing back plates 13f, 13g, 13h can almost close a foreign matter intruding path, thus preventing foreign maters from introducing into a cover of electrical equipment even if a clearance is defined between the sealed container and the bracket.
