    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may receive a clear channel assessment trigger from a second wireless device, the clear channel assessment trigger associated with a data transmission by the second wireless device. The first wireless device may transmit, based at least in part on a result of a first clear channel assessment procedure, feedback information for the clear channel assessment trigger. The first wireless device may receive the data transmission based at least in part on the feedback information for the first clear channel assessment procedure. The first wireless device may transmit, based at least in part on a result of a second clear channel assessment procedure, feedback information for the data transmission, wherein the first clear channel assessment procedure has a first duration that is longer than a second duration for the second clear channel assessment procedure.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to medium access in a shared radio frequency band with long-term sensing for exception to medium access restriction are provided. A wireless communication device performs channel measurements in a shared radio frequency band during a plurality of measurement occasions spaced apart in time, the performing the channel measurements being based on a plurality of spatial directions. The wireless communication device determines whether the channel measurements satisfy a criterion for accessing the shared radio frequency band without a medium access restriction. The wireless communication device transmits, in a first spatial direction, a first communication signal in the shared radio frequency band without the medium access restriction in response to determining that the channel measurements satisfy the criterion, the plurality of spatial directions including the first spatial direction.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for adjusting transmit powers for concurrent uplink transmissions from a user equipment (UE) to multiple transmission reception points (TRPs), or dropping one or more uplink transmissions to one or more TRPs, based on one or more parameters. A UE may identify that a combined transmission power for concurrent uplink transmissions exceeds a power threshold of the UE, and may adjust a power for one or more of the concurrent uplink transmissions, or drop one or more of the uplink transmissions based on such an identification. If a difference in transmit powers of the concurrent uplink transmissions exceeds a power difference threshold, the UE may drop one or more lower priority transmissions. The UE may multiplex at least a portion of a dropped transmission with another uplink transmission that will be transmitted, such as by rate-matching or puncturing.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may be provisioned with multiple semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations. The UE may determine a differentiation characteristic for determining which SPS configuration is indicated by a downlink control information or associated with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). For example, the UE may receive a first activation of a first SPS configuration and a second activation of a second SPS configuration. The UE may determine the differentiation characteristic between the first SPS configuration and the second SPS configuration. The UE may determine that one of the first SPS configuration or the second SPS configuration is the SPS configuration for a received PDSCH based on the differentiation characteristic. The UE may transmit an acknowledgment of the PDSCH based on the determined SPS configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may perform a channel access procedure on a shared radio frequency spectrum band using a first beam configuration. The base station may transmit, based at least in part on successful completion of the channel access procedure, a reservation request message (RRQ) to a user equipment (UE) using a second beam configuration, the second beam configuration comprising a beam width that is equal to or narrower than a beam width of the first beam configuration. The base station may receive a reservation response message (RRS) from the UE in response to the RRQ, the RRS comprising a third beam configuration that is based at least in part on the second beam configuration.
