Abstract: The present invention discloses methods and materials for constructing combinatorial libraries composed of organometallic compounds immobilized on solid supports and encoded with detectable tags. The encoded library of organometallic compound is especially useful for rapidly screening large numbers of member compounds for catalytic performance. These immobilized catalysts can be pooled in a single reactor where they are screened for a predefined property, such as catalytic activity and selectivity.
